About us

I am a 15-man plastering company doing commercial and residential. I do interior and exterior plastering, drywall included. We also do commercial fireproofing and Venetian plastering. Billing procedures: 40% upon lathe, 40% upon scratch, 20% upon finish.

Parging was fantastic. There were other issues though. Project waste was dumped in my back yard creating a waste stream problem (i.e., things that cannot be put into the municipal waste so take a lot of time and effort to get rid of). Additionally, my stucco repair materials for my house were taken by the crew and never returned! This was lime, cement and the stucco stone (finings). Admittedly, the owner did make an attempt but me not being an expert in stucco, I could not give him the exact manufacturer's specifications. (The materials were left by the stucco contractor and not in their original containers.) I still have not been able to replace the sand which is the most critical to obtain a matching texture on repair. I eventually just gave up since it was consuming too much of my time.
