Auto Service
$5,500
As of today, 2 & 1/2 MONTHS LATER, NO repair has been done. The car is STILL in the shop!
Robert Fandrey said he has replaced the engine and showed it to me on Jan. 22, but IT IS STILL THE SAME ORIGINAL ENGINE! He also wanted ANOTHER $1,500 to replace the turbo. By then I have consulted with two other mechanics. Both told me that the problem was with turbo charge. The engine is fine. But Robert Fandrey would NOT release my car, unless I pay him more money. He said I owe him the remaining balance of $1,000 (from original quote) + $1,500 for turbo + $90 per day for "STORAGE" otherwise he would put a lien on my car and take me to the collection agency. Has anybody heard of a such thing?? How long does it take to replace an engine?? The question is do I even need a new engine in the first class?
