Walter was responsive in scheduling. He arrived on time. The work he performed was excellent. He explained to me what needed to be done and made suggestions about how to avoid problems in the future. He kept the workspace very clean. I was very happy with how everything went.

Walter was great. Arrived right on time, did good work, explained everything and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with his services. He even made an additional repair that he happened to notice without an additional charge. I'm sure we'll be hiring Walter again in the future.

Punctual and professional, Walter inspected the space and unit; advised on precautionary measures and product placement. He then started working on the install and left the space tidy.

Incredibly well! Because the unit is visible from the street, Owner Walter Villacortas designed, built and painted a small shed to protect the system from the elements and any possible theft. He did an excellent job! The shed is unobtrusive and blends in well with the exterior layout of the house. Walter is always very thorough with every project he's done for us - from informing us about what equipment or products to purchase... to accomplishing the work in a timely fashion.

Walter and team managed to do the work in three days and we haven't had a problem since. Every step of the way was extensively documented and they took a great deal of care protecting our floors and personal items.

Walter Villacorta is an excellent plumber: he does everything to code, is licensed, and is thorough and meticulous. I got a call late on a Friday afternoon from a tenant that she had no hot water. After searching up plumbers on Yelp and making a couple of calls to plumbers that couldn't come out for a few days, I found Walter Villacortas Plumbing. He was on another job but was willing to drive to us at 7pm on a Friday night! He diagnosed the problem (earth quake shut-off valves installed with flimsy - and therefore shakable - hardware, which kept triggering the shut-off valve. He re-set the valve, relit the water heater and made sure the pilots were on on the tenant's range. This was the 3rd time the valve had been triggered in about 5 weeks. Other plumbers (and the gas company) had re-set the valve and relit the water heater, but it was Walter who diagnosed the real problem and came back with a permanent solution which was to install beefier straps and more clamps to keep the valve from shaking. We've had no problems since. While Walter has been on this newly purchased property, he has been really helpful in showing me a few other problem areas - which are obvious when he points them out. I feel that he has my best interest in mind and is helping me to ensure our property will be safe for everyone who lives there. Walter returns my phone calls promptly and is excellent at describing the problem and the solution. His prices are good and I am 100% pleased with his work. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Very prompt, felt comfortable with his assessment. He advised calling Sears, since it is a Sears water heater. He feels that it can be repaired rather than replacing the whole unit.

Not going to go into details about the job itself except to stay that Walter is the most honest, knowledgeable, and skillful plumber/handyman I've ever met. He tells it like it is and is not trying to sell anything. He thoroughly documents the issue with photographs and takes time to explain the issue with you including the options available to you. He was always on time and finished the work when he said he would and made multiple emergency visits when we needed him during the weekend. Walter's professionalism is also a reflection on his crew.

He was on time, very professional, didn't try and up-sell anything.  Good luck finding anyone else out there willing to come to your place and offer a free quote.  Will definitely use this company again in the future.  Called yesterday afternoon and they were there 8:30AM the next morning.  Quick work and cleaned up after.  Thanks.

Walter arrived on time, with one man, and started working. We told him about a leak in the roof around the skylight in one of the bathrooms he was working in.  He climbed up and took a look, and calked it.  While on the roof he noticed a huge pile of accumulated leaves, and swept them down, cleaned the gutters, and cleaned everything up.
All our plumbing problems were taken care of beautifully, and we even got gutter cleaning and leaf removal.  We were very happy with the work, and felt that Walter Villacortas is very prompt, professional, and delivers on his estimate. (and more). We would absolutely recommend him.

He was professional, it was very expensive though I don't have anything to compare with. And he was within what I was willing to pay and so far I don't have a leak any more, and I think his work was satisfactory and so far its okay. And I use them very prompt and he was on time. He was very professional. I have other minor thing needed to be done and I will use his services again.

The instillation, which involved a lot of work, was successfully completed within 2 hours. The owner, Walter Villacortas, was prompt, thorough and cordial.  There was a leaking shower head, but he wanted to see if regulating the water pressure would fix the problem before having to charge me for that repair.  As it turns out, the shower is still leaking. I will be calling him back for that.

I contacted Villacortas when we had a clogged kitchen sink drain. They came a couple of hours after I called them and exactly at the time they said they would arrive. They quickly got to work on what proved to be a serious blockage. They had the drain cleared and the sink cleaned up in less than an hour. They were professional and courteous. I'd recommend their service.

The toilet was installed ok, but the vanity did not fit properly with the plumbing lines.  Therefore, I gave him permission to cut the back of the vanity, as well as to cut a space out of the vanity shelf so the drain pipe would fit.  I was mortified when I saw the hole that was cut into my brand new vanity!  It is a hole that is larger than necessary, and it was cut without any type of precision.  It's a big gaping uneven hole in the center of the inside of the vanity that is a complete eyesore each time you open the vanity.  I asked why he didn't use an instrument that would have allowed a precise and even cut, and he stated he was unable to do that.  I would think he would have informed me of such BEFORE cutting!  Not happy with this job at all.

The previous owner of my home had a water line next to my garage, in my backyard, and it came up 2 feet out of the ground, from my lawn. I had it cut down and capped off about two years ago but the tip of the pipe was exposed for a couple of inches (bad job by another plumber whom did the job when i was not around). I accidentally ran it over with my lawnmower and shredded the cap. Water began gushing out resembling a busted fire hydrant. I had to shut off the water main to my home since it was on the same line. It was sunday and after going through almost 10 plumbers, I found Walter's Plumbing and he was ready and willing to help me. He told me he could be at my home within the hour and he was. He assessed the situation, calmy explained my options and did the work i requested. He and his assistant Peter were extremely professional, genuine, and efficient with everything the did. They  cleaned up and also took the time to give me an assessment of minor fixes around my house (water heater, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, other) that would save me from a disaster later down the road. He explained every situation in a very calm and humlble manner, and never once did i feel he was trying to sell me or pressure me into having him do additional work - he seemed happy simply by educating me about things around my home. He is a true master and scholar of his craft.. and his worker Peter was outstanding.
