It all went very well. Dennis McCarthy has a terrific and loyal crew who has worked with him and Tom for a long time. They are all honest, hard-working and dedicated. Dennis is efficient and doesn't waste time. Dennis and his team are also very organized and respectful and would keep the work area very neat at the end of each day, and we weren't even living in the house during the remodel. I've had other contractors whose crews dump construction supplies and paint in the bushes, but Dennis' crew would clean up every night so the site was always neat and swept up. Dennis is very loyal as well. Since the remodel was complete, he is always available to help or to answer any questions. We recently had a roof leak (the roof had not been replaced during the remodel) and Dennis had a crew at the house to fix it the next day even during rainy season in Los Angeles when it's hard to book roofers. I highly recommend Dennis and Value Max for any construction projects.
