URBAN DOG

These people are fantastic! The minute our dogs realize we are going here they start getting excited in the car. When they get to Urban Dog they get put with like types of dogs and have a ball. They always come home happy and tired from playing all day. They have hikes that you can sign your dog up for which is great for our younger more active boy. Our senior lady gets moved from place to place based on her energy level that day. Some days play with the big dogs, some days bossing around the little ones and some days napping in the kennel. Some days all three. They watch her and decide what she's up for.

The flexibility is fantastic, some days we go others we don't. Don't have to make appointments and Urban Dog is totally flexible.

Everyone that works there is great and they all love the dogs. We couldn't be happier here!!!

My dog goes to Urban Dog for daycare and boarding.  The place is very clean, air conditioned, and the staff is very dog-friendly.  My dog always seems excited to go there.   I have also used the grooming services.  They did a lovely job.  I wish their prices were not so high, but they seem competitive.

Overall really well. My dog seemed happy to be there. Didn't have any issues when we picked her up.

The personnel could not have been nicer or more caring. My big dog went there frequently for exercise and socialization and play.
Bella  appeared to love it; would get excited and begin "talking" 2 blocks away.The staff always welcomed her, knew her by name and she went in  with them eagerly. They appeared to be quite competent and experienced at handling dogs.   The staff members were exceptionally helpful and pleasant and I  recommend the facility very  highly!  It became necessary for us to move out of the area or we would still be going to Urban Dog frequently.
 
 

I love these guys. I would never take my dog anywhere else. They have been boarding my Shiba Inu since he was young. He is now a senior and has some special needs. They are sensitive to his limitations and temperament. I am so grateful to Urban Dog for the quality care they provide. Although my dog never wants me to leave him, once he is brought beyond "the door" and can no longer see me I can see that he is comfortable and in good spirits.

They are attentive and informative at drop-off.  They are always willing
to take a phone call as well to check on your boarding dog.  It makes
me really happy that Sadie gets to spend her daytime playing with all of
the other dogs (you have to excuse a few cuts/bumps - dogs will be
dogs) instead of locked up all day and night in a cage.  I would
recommend Urban Dog to anyone looking to find a home away from home for
their pooch.  Prices, especially around the holidays, are a little
expensive, but well worth the care and are comparable to others around
town.

I love them. I keep my dogs there overnight. They bathe my dogs as well. I've used them a few times and I will continue to use them.

I have two large senior dogs. They have never, never ever like being boarded. They used to cry all the way to the kennel and when I picked them up, they would guilt trip me and act as if I?d left them somewhere to be tortured. Then we moved to LA and I stumbled upon Urban Dog. The first time I boarded them there I noticed a HUGE difference in their attitudes. They came home happy and playful. I now board them at Urban Dog quite often and not once have they cried in the car or dreaded their arrival. For days after I pick them up they follow me around with toys begging for the playtime they received at Urban Dog (that?s the only downside really ;). We love the way they do things at Urban Dog ? dogs are grouped according to personality types. The employees know my dogs and call them by name each time they arrive for a visit. One of the employees even ran out to my car once to give my dogs goodbye kisses when I picked them up after a long visit. And since my guys are older, the folks at Urban Dog are quick to recognize when my guys have ?had enough? of the other dogs and they put them away in a private area for rest time. I usually have the dogs bathed before pickup, but on the rare occasion I?ve forgotten to, they still come home smelling like they?ve been in a fresh and sanitary environment. And, with senior dogs I often show up with medications, which Urban Dog is happy to administer at no extra charge. My dogs have stayed at Urban Dog anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks and they are always returned to me happy, healthy and non-phased by my absence. Sometimes I feel bad that they don?t miss me more ? just kidding, I?m actually really happy I can leave them in good hands. Knowing they?re happy allows me to travel guilt free. Thanks Urban Dog for being my dogs? home away from home. I wouldn?t take them anywhere else.

They are clean and we are very satisfied with this company. The people are very friendly. They take good care of the animals. The dog is happy when picked up. It is a posititive experience.

By far, Urban Dog is the best dog care facility I've used. Cozmo comes home well exercised and happy. The staff is exemplary; kind and careful, both dog and people friendly. They have helped me when I've had family illnesses and have had to leave Cozmo at the last minute. In addition, they have picked up Cozmo at the vet when I've been unable to. They recommended this vet, who is excellent. I trust them and give them my highest recommendation--you and your dog will be happy.

My family uses Urban Dog almost exclusively for both day and overnight boarding of our dog. The "cage free" facility and group play really is wonderful for our dog. We fell much better knowing that our dog will have room to run around when we are away rather than being stuck in a little kennel. The staff is fabulous and really love all the animals that they care for.

Our experience was excellent. They had our dog stay for an afternoon at no charge to see how she got along with the other dogs. All dogs must have their shots and be in good health. The staff is very caring about the dogs.

I have had a long relationship with Urban Dog. The first two dogs I took there have passed on and now I have two other dogs that I take to Urban Dog. It is absolutely clear to me that the people who work there love dogs and know what they are doing. Unlike some dog kennels, Urban Dog has many staff members who have worked there a long time and I trust their judgment 100%. Every time I've been in a pinch, the people at Urban Dog have come through for me, even taking my dog to the vet when I could not. Best of all, my dogs love going there. I just have to say "Urban Dog" and the tails start wagging. I am very protective of my dogs and have checked out a lot of dog kennels and doggie day care places over the years and have never found a place that compares. I also love it that they have a web cam. I don't look at it very often but I think the fact that Urban Dog welcomes owners to look in on their dogs anytime says a lot about the place.

They are fantastic! They are good with animals and it is a great kennel. All the people that work there are great dog people. They always remember our dog. They even sent us a get well card when she was attacked, which I thought was really sweet. There is also a web cam, so you can watch your dog when you are away on your computer, which is reassuring.

The business offers doggie daycare and boarding. The website is urbandog.com. The employees are extremely nice and truly familiarize themselves with my dog. It is a very clean atmosphere. Their pricing is high but I am so pleased with their knowledgeable and professional services that it is well worth it.

These guys are great. We go out of town several times a year & need a boarding facility where our dog gets attention and play. We've used 3 other boarders in LA and Urban Dog is superior to all. Our dog is excited to go there & always comes back happy. At other boarders, she has come back withdrawn & nervous. She is a big dog & plays rough & can get overstimulated, but this is not a problem at UD - they evaluate the dogs behaviorally & group them for play accordingly. The dogs seem to be constantly monitored as well. If my dog needs a nap or a time out, they let her go to the kennel area for a while - they don't force her to play if she doesn't want to. They are professional, caring and courteous. Their rates are higher than several of their competitors but for the care & attention my dog gets, I feel it is more than worth it. I recommend them 100%.

I LOVE URBAN DOG, AND SO DO MY DOGS! WHENEVER I TAKE MY DOGS THERE, AND THEY SEE WHERE THEY ARE GOING THEY GET HAPPY, AND EXCITED, AND CAN'T WAIT TO GET INTO THE DOGGIE POPULATION TO PLAY. BECAUSE URBAN DOG FOCUSES ON THE SAFETY OF THE ANIMALS, AND BECAUSE THE STAFF IS SO GREAT, I ALWAYS FEEL CONFIDENT THAT MY DOGS ARE WELL WATCHED, AND WELL CARED FOR DURING THEIR VISIT. WHEN THEY COME HOME THEY ARE HAPPY, AND TIRED, SO I KNOW THEY'RE ALSO GETTING GOOD EXERCISE. AND THE HOURS ARE GREAT - I CAN PICK MY DOGS UP AS LATE AS 9:00 PM. WE JUST LOVE URBAN DOG!

IT WAS GREAT. I MEAN I RECOMMENDED IT TO TEN PEOPLE SINCE I'VE GONE. IT WAS AMAZING. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. IT'S JUST NICE TO KNOW THAT WHEN YOU GO ON VACATION THAT YOUR DOG IS SAFE AND HAPPY. IT WAS A GREAT ATMOSPHERE, AND WHEN I CALLED TO CHECK ON MY DOG THEY DIDN'T PUT ME ON HOLD OR ANYTHING. THEY JUST SAW HER AND SAID OH YEAH SHE'S DOING GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

THEY ONLY TAKE DOGS THAT ARE NON-AGGRESSIVE SO THERE ARE A LOT OF DOGS IN A COMMON AREA AND A PRIVATE AREA AT NIGHT TIME. I REALLY LIKED THE STAFF. THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL.
