Have NO DOUBTS hiring Travelin' Chimps - they are the absolute best! I was leaving Suki, my small dog, for the weekend and was so worried about who would take care of her - would they be good - would they be loving - would they play with her? Well, no worried. Travelin' Chimps is fantastic (love the name!!). My dog was so happy with Diana, her caretaker! She stayed in touch with me by sending texts and photos of my happy fur baby. Diana was there all the time with her. Clint is a very kind and conscientious owner. I was nervous leaving my dog - boy was that wasted energy!! I would hire this company every time I go out of town and I highly recommend them. They cover every detail and are totally professional, licensed and bonded, and most of all - kind and loving. The peace of mind that my dog was well cared for was so worth it.

All I can keep repeating is that I could never manage raising my dogs without the loving assistance of Travelin' Chimp Animal Care. Makes all the difference.

I contacted Travelin? Chimp Animal Care based on the excellent comments from fellow Angie?s List clients.  I was impressed with the company?s web site especially the up-front fee structure and services offered.  (No surprises.)  I was pleased that they will administer medications and subcutaneous fluid shots.  (One of our cats has deteriorating kidneys.)  The owner, Clint, responded
right away and we set up an appointment for his associate, Courtney, to meet the cats and assess the situation to see if we were a good fit.
 Courtney was very nice and professional and we made the arrangements.  I liked that we didn?t need to leave money up front; Travelin? Chimp will send an invoice at the end of the service period.
Two weeks before we were to leave, I noticed a large growth on one of the cat?s legs.  It was a tumor that required 5 radiation treatments and I was unable to schedule them all prior to our departure.  I boarded the cat at the vets and asked Clint to pick him up after his last treatment.  Any pet owner will understand how nervous and stressed I was, knowing that I wouldn?t see the cat again for 18 days.
 Well, Clint was absolutely amazing.  As soon as he brought our cat home, he sent a picture so we could see he was OK.  For the next couple of days, Clint sent updates every time he came to the house, and even a few more pictures.  By day 4, I stopped thinking about the cats as I could tell they were in good hands.  We still received daily text messages from Clint or Courtney, which was comforting and allowed us to have a great vacation.  When I took the cat to the vet for a follow-up, he had actually gained weight (a good thing) while in Clint and Courtney?s care.
 A few other things I appreciated about Travelin? Chimp that my previous cat sitting service didn?t do; checked the house for ?cat barf?, found toys to engage the cats in play, brushed the cats and navigated our home alarm system without triggering any false alarms.  Cat-wise, the house was cleaner than when we left.  Upon Clint?s suggestion, we reduced the visits-per-day while the one cat was being boarded, which saved us some money.
 I would absolutely recommend Travelin? Chimp Animal Care service.  They are well worth the expense.  Our next trip is 20 days duration, and I look forward to Clint and Courtney taking care of our cats so we can have a worry-free trip.

The Travelin' Chimp Animal Care service is fantastic. Clint is the primary contact and our dogs walker. 
We have two very active Weimaraners and have been a handful to walk. Clint took immediate control and was able to walk both at the same time. However, we found that walkiing separately, the experience for both handler and dog was better. So we extended Clint's time to one hour (1/2 hour per dog). It has been better for us because the dogs come back tired and happy. They love Clint. He is always on time, professional and gives us feed back on each dog. Clint has been very flexible and has been able to change the schedule to increase the walks when we are on vacation and during holidays. We have been using their services for the past 6 months and are extremely happy. 
We highly recommend the Travelin' Chimp Animal Care LLC company. The BEST!!!!

I contacted Clint at the last minute (literally two days before I needed dog walking) and he replied to me immediately and made himself and his colleague available to come to my home and meet my dog on a Sunday. They are professional, easy going and provide daily text messages so that we know what's happened with our dog. I had the pleasure of being home one day when Kat (our daily walker) came for the walk and our dog immediately greeted her and jumped on her, which was very comforting to see. I would highly recommend Clint and his team and so happy we found them -- not sure what I would have done without them.

Clint and his employees are wonderful, punctual, respectful and make us 100% comfortable caring for our four cats.

I needed a dog walker/pet sitter on short notice and Clint at Travelin' Chimp Animal Care really came through for me and my doggie. I was leaving town for the weekend and was worried about leaving my dog Mia at a pet hotel because she is a pit bull rescue and has anxiety issues. I called Travelin' Chimp and Clint was very friendly and professional and had no problem working a new client into his schedule. Before I left for my trip, Clint came by to meet my dog and we were impressed by how quickly he was able to make my dog feel relaxed and comfortable. We scheduled Clint to come by twice a day for 30 minutes and he was able to meet all accomadations that we needed. When we got back, my place was exactly how we left it and Clint even left a gift for us... an awesome framed picture of my dog! Clint went above and beyond my expecations and Mia and I look forward to working with him and Travelin' Chimp Animal Care again.

I called Traveling Chimp and a couple of other companies about caring for our animals when we were on vacation about 3 weeks before we were leaving. Traveling Chimp was heads and shoulders above the rest for several reasons. 1) Their website had prices and services stated clearly. None of the other companies I checked did that. 2) When I spoke with Clint on the phone he asked all the right questions about our pets and made sure that we were getting the services we needed for the animals. One of the other companies actually told us they couldn't do what we were asking because and quot;It won't pay enough to be worth it.and quot; 3) He wanted to come out and meet the animals while we were still home so he could see how we did things and keep their lives as normal as possible while we were gone. A competitor not only did not offer or ask to do this, they said they and quot;Never do that sort of thing.and quot; when I asked about it.
Clint took care of 2 dogs and 2 cats for approximately a week. My mother was at home, but unable to walk the dogs due to recent surgery. Traveling Chimp came 2xs a day, fed both dogs and checked on the cats. We expected the litter box to maybe get scooped once since we were not going to be gone very long and there are 2 boxes. The litter boxes were scooped at least 3 times. We got periodic text updates about how everyone was doing, which was wonderful and helped us relax. When we got home, we found a lovely pair of pictures in frames on our table! How nice it was to come home to that. My mother was very impressed with the care the animals received and said that she was never bothered or disturbed by the Traveling Chimp folks coming in and out of the house. Clint even took Whiskey's dog bed upstairs to the laundry for her. I am beyond pleased with how everything went. Clint and the folks at Traveling Chimp will be the ones we call for pet sitting from now on!

Clint and his staff are excellent. I loved that they came to my home prior to my trip to meet me, my pets, and to get familiar with my home. They asked a number of questions about my pets' routine, plant watering frequency, mail delivery times, emergency contacts, etc. - they were incredibly professional and thorough.
Upon my return, my animals were very happy, well fed, and hadn't really missed a beat. My plants were thriving and the mail was neatly stacked on the kitchen counter.
I would highly recommend this firm if you have any need for pet/house sitters. It was very comforting to know who was watching my home and pets while I was away. I wouldn't even consider using anyone else.
