These guys are pretty good and pretty customer friendly. They go a good job of treating you like a person, and they do a pretty good job of figuring out what's going on with your car. We have a Sienna that is still under extended warranty that we bought from them, which is not something I would do again -- seems like every time we take it in some major thing happens to the car -- but luckily is in under warranty and 90% of what goes wrong is covered. The rest of the stuff is normal wear and tear. They do make a real effort to get all the stuff covered that should be covered, and they do an excellent job of communicating what they're doing and why.

I have not ever in my life had such an awful, negative experience. The Service Rep. Mike Dizacomo, was abrupt, angry, rude and embarrassed me by bending down with his face inches away from mine and yelling, actually yelling at me in front of at least 15 other people waiting in the waiting room for their vehicles. This was, apparently, because I said I had concerns and did not like a whirring noise the car was making. The tire rotation and multi-point inspection took over 4 hours, and when my car was brought out to me to go home, it was dirty, with grease marks around the front hood area. With a newer car, still under warranty, most other Toyota Dealerships rinse and wipe down the car after servicing it. I was actully so upset that I just wanted to get us away from there. I did call Toyota Care but they only made a token effort of caring, and had two Service Managers from Toyota of Hollywood call me with platitudes, which frankly,could not help me at all after the way I/we had been treated. The vehicle is a 2012 Toyota Highlander 4WD.

I have a Toyota Highlander hybrid and I wouldn't take that to just anyone. I love them. I won't take my car there if a certain service provider isn't there. Alex Anaya is extremely diligent and very honest. He tells it like it is and he won't try to sell me something that I need. He knows better because I know as much about cars as he does. I make it very clear when I go to a new dealership that they're not going to jerk me around. The supervisor down to the guys who work on the car all know me. They discuss what needs to be done because I am very familiar with what needs to be done to keep a car running. I have been using them for five years on my husband's car and four years on mine.

I dropped my car off 07:00 3/30/11...spoke with my service consultant...Arshak Kirakosyan ...a very pleasant and professional young man...and taken home by a Toyota shuttle. I was picked up at home around 02:30 when the car was ready. I spoke to Arshak and picked my car up which I hardly recognized....they washed my car! Also, my car worked fine by the way. In conclusion, I rate my experience with Hollywood Toyota as one of my best.....and I am 80 years old...been driving for over 60 years!

The reason they gave it to me at no charge instead of $229.00 was because of a snafu on their part in setting up the initial appointment. The service rep, Randy, graciously offered to do the job for free to make up for it. Since he wasn't there when I came in, another rep named Patrick took care of me without a hitch. In addition, while doing the service, the mechanic found a nail in one of the tires, and they fixed that for free, too. So, in the end, they got the job done properly, in an agreed upon time frame, and it didn't cost me anything. Thank you, Randy, Pat, and Hollywood Toyota!

From the first time I talked with salesmen Ben Girmay and Reza Laleh by telephone, I felt our requests were heard and acted upon courteously. To confirm the car I wanted was available, Ben had to walk the lot and call me back. My wife mentioned that Toyota of Hollywood seemed to be the first dealership she could recall at which she had a positive negotiation experience. After having leased or purchased many new cars including Fords, Hondas and Pontiacs, Toyota of Hollywood seems to be the first dealership either of us can recall which left us feeling good about their sales staff. For example, Maher Mehri, Ben and Joe Magana all acted as a polite team and solved two sale delivery problems in a pleasant fashion. During purchase, the first car selected for us had white residue in its hood paint which remained from Toyota's transportation plastics. Maher noticed this and voluntarily swapped to a different car with Ben's cooperation to complete the sale. And, after we returned home with the new car that evening, I also noticed tiny scratches and nicks in the rear bumper. I telephoned Maher right away about this and he said to bring it in to have them rubbed out. For a comparatively inexpensive new car I would sometimes expect transportation and preparation problems like this: it would be better they didn't happen but they do. We purchased the car on the last day of the year when the dealership was unusually busy with customers wanting to take advantage of Toyota's immediately expiring purchase incentives. It's the prompt, courteous and efficient manner in which the dealer handled things that gave me confidence in their sales staff. Today the rear bumper scratches were cleaned up with Joe's assistance in 15 minutes, and the car now seems in perfect sale condition. Toyota of Hollywood will be the first ever new car dealership to which I'd refer prospective new customers.

We spent probably around $700 on that service. I love their sales staff and I have bought every car that I have from them. Their service department to me is a little less than efficient and on at least 2 occasions I have had to return to them on the following day or within a couple of days because they hadn’t done something correctly and needed to fix it. It is nothing major, just little things like that their don’t pay attention to, which have caused me an extra day to back over to have them remedy it. I have a free maintenance from them because they offered me a free maintenance to make up for not doing what they should have done the first time around. That is the kind of relationship I have with them, but it is just that the service staff is not as good as they used to be. They don’t have the excellent service that they used to have.

They tell me how long the work is going to take and it usually is done in that amount of time. I appreciate how they inform me of the cost up front. I've been happy with the service that I've received. One time, they couldn't get in the part that they needed for my car right away so they offered me a complementary rental vehicle in the mean time. It was much appreciated.

They were very professional. They gave me the right advices and executed them well. The very next day my car started to run 32 miles/gallon from the previous day which was 46 miles/gallon. I felt it was related to tier change but they did not find anything wrong with the tires. They checked the car and reset all the electronics in it. Now the car runs 40 miles/gallon. They were right. I now strongly recommend them to others.

I trusted them right away when the resolved the issue at a reasonable cost. They are expensive but it is worth the cost, they do honest good work. It is hard to find a service shop that does quality work. I tend to go to one mechanic and he treats me fairly. They keep a log of work that has been performed so you do not have to spend a lot time telling them what needs to be done.

They have been amazing! I find them to be completely competent. They're not high pressure, which I like. They're not the kind of place that badgers you once you enter the door. They have a wide variety of vehicles and the sales people are very knowledgeable. The service department I've found to be excellent. I've never had a problem with them at all. We have our cars serviced regularly with them.

The salespeople were bending over backwards for me. Usually car salesman are very high pressure. They let me feel that I was in control, not them. I am about to take it in to be checked because the steering wheel pulls to the right, and the breaks seem to affect that somehow. The blind spots in the vehicle are very disturbing. It is very difficult to see what is behind you because of the bar that goes across the back window.

There are many things that were poorly done. Car promised 3 different times and then not ready for example. But the worst was the service manager called and told me that the battery also needed to be replaced. I informed him that the battery had been in the car for a total of 5 hours and never used. He said he would check and call back. He called back and told me the battery had over-heated and burst spilling acid. I told him that the battery had never even been connected because of bad cables. He never got me an answer for that. When I picked up the car and drove off, it was with the battery I had installed. That means either incompetence or outright lying. Either way, I'll never go there again.
