My neighbors are raving about how great my house looks. They are very efficient. They answered every question I had, and if I had any concerns they made sure to come back and fix what I had issues with. They were very thorough and reliable. They estimated how much time it was going to take correctly, and there were no extra charges.

The quality of the people that they used were very inexperienced and their was a serious lack of supervision. It took them three times to install the tile, two to install the back splash, and the installation of the cabinets was rushed.  They ended up fixing everything, but it took multiple meeting with the general contractor to make sure everything was correct. I would give them credit for completely the job within reason and did what they said what they would do.

My husband pointed out to Chen that the shingles had not been replaced, and Chen told him the nail holes would cause the roof to leak! Back on Nov.16 I had a talk with Chen and told him I thought his estimate was way too high (I had rec'd the $800 est in the meantime) and he told me you must pay top price if you want top work done and this was the best there was and it would be better than new. Nov.20 it rained. The section of roof which they had worked on, over the garage, leaked. It leaked and leaked and leaked, much more than it had before they started their "repair." When Chen was called, he said he would be here first thing Mon.morning. The call was made on Sat. No one showed up on Mon. 11/22. By then my husband realized he was paying for shoddy work and little integrity and called another roofer who finished the job for $600. Tues.afternoon 11/23 someone from Top Construction came to collect the remainder of the payment ($2160) and to see what my husband felt had not been done well. My husband showed him the still wet garage, with 2pails and 2 tubs and part of a carpet and 1 throw rug, all full of water along with wood and scraps from the roof. He left. On 11/24 at 8am we were awakened by another Top Construction worker who said he was there to fix the roof. My husband informed him we did not want any more bad roofing done and we had hired someone else to finish the work. Later that day Top Construction called to say they would return our deposit but then we would owe them $1500. For what? Holes in the roof? My husband refused this ridiculous option. The work was completed today, Nov.30 by the other company mentioned, although not named, in a few hours. I plan to recommend this outfit after it rains again, if all goes well. I have a more complete documentation I can send by e-mail if you think it is necessary. It was written after Chen Zinger threatened to sue us and/or put a lien on the house We have photos of work in progress, work as it was left without the shingles, and the mess in the soggy garage but I can''t figure out how to attach them to this document.
