The locksmith (I apologize for not remembering his name) who performed all the work was punctual and very pleasant. He examined all the doors and locks I was asking to have worked and he provided a qoute for all of it. He worked efficiently and had the job completed within an hour (more like 45 minutes). I am very pleased with the work performed and I would call the Licksmith Guys again, without hesitation, should I need their services.

The service was good. They came on the day and the time when they said they would and took care of the problem. It probably took about 10 to 15 minutes and they were gone. The price was good.

It was great. They came out within a couple of hours from the time that I called them and it wasn't even an emergency. They're just down the road from me, they came out, their price was better than what a lot of other people had quoted to me. They came and did it really quickly and got out of there. They were punctual, professional and it was good job. I'd definitely would use them again if I were still in Los Angeles.

Chris took my call and determined which of his guys on the road could get to me the fastest. He'd originally said 30 minutes, then came back to make it 20, which got me to say yes. The only bump in the whole experience was that it took 30 minutes for Mike to arrive, which was the original estimate. Once he arrived, he sat right down on his stool and got to work. 20 minutes later, he'd successfully picked a very difficult lock and charged their flat rate for emergencies. (There was no discount for finding them on Angie's List, though.) All in all, it was a positive experience. Mike was neat, professional and focused.

Another locksmith wouldn't even return my call. Chris at Locksmith Guys made the repair on time, per his original quote.

We had a great experience with The Locksmith Guys. I called on a Monday to get an estimate on the locks we needed re-keyed and talked to Chris who was very friendly and informative. After calling a second company for another quote (which was fairly similar in price) I decided to call Chris back because he had been very helpful, had a great demeanor and was local. He was able to schedule Mike to come out to our house at the time we requested for Saturday morning. When Saturday morning came Mike called us to confirm and let us know he'd be arriving in 30-45 minutes - exactly in the time frame scheduled - and he arrived promptly. He was friendly and professional and immediately went to work once my husband showed him where the doors needing the work were. We had originally planned on just re-keying all 5 locks, but it was explained to us that the deadbolt on one door didn't have the same kind of hardware as the rest of the locks so it would need a different key than the others after re-keying. We asked if replacing the hardware (which he could do on the spot) would fix that problem, and after finding out there was only a $12 or $13 difference between re-keying the existing lock or getting a new one and matching that to the others, we opted to replace the lock. 2 keys were a part of the re-keying pricing, and we opted to get more copies. The entire process took about 1 to 1 1/2 hours and was very smooth and problem free. All keys work in all the locks and Mike even flipped one of the locks back the right way since the original had been installed upside down. We will absolutely use them again for any locks/keys, etc. in the future!

It is still working. It was a tricky and the first time they did it it didn't work so they had to come back. They came back and fixed it and it worked fine. We used them because our regular guy was out of town.

Entire job went very well. Called the company at 10AM requesting service the same day between 1 and 1:30PM. They indicated that they would contact me at 1PM which they did. The service person arrived 35 minutes later and completed the job in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. No prior cost estimate was quoted. The service person stated the cost for the job when he understood the services I wanted.

I needed to re-key all the exterior doors at both of my businesses, and wanted them all to work off of one key. I called The Locksmith Guys because I've used them in the past, and have always been very satisfied. Chris was prompt (same day, by the way), courteous, and helpful as usual. He noticed that the front door was missing a strike plate, and replace it for me. Two of the doors required complete lock/knob changes in order to accommodate my "one key" request, and Chris came equipped with everything needed to do that - including a wide selection of finishes and styles for the locks/knobs to ensure they would match the existing hardware; and "do not duplicate" keys. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. Chris even mailed me a set of keys for my filing cabinet, (which I bought used, with no keys), free of charge. I think their fees are comparable to most other locksmiths in the area, but the comfort I have in knowing the work was done with integrity is worth so much more to me. I never thought I'd have a locksmith's phone number in my contact list, but this one's definitely a keeper!
