I ordered an arrangement one week before I helped my daughter move from one state to another to begin her professional career and first real job. I wanted to commemorate the occasion and thought it would be very special to have the arrangement delivered to her new place on the day we arrived in the new city and moved her in. Not only did Teleflora not deliver on the scheduled date, I wasn't notified until late that day that they wouldn't be delivering and was advised to reschedule the delivery. They sent an email instead of calling (and I was on the road!). The moment in time/occasion was completely lost and ruined so I requested a refund. I also contacted them to let them know how disappointed I was and never heard anything back in response.
Description of Work: COMPLETELY ruined a special time in a loved one's life.

I ordered flowers for Mom's Funeral for the next morning. The operator could not get the spellings correct or the date of the funeral. It was the worst experience I have ever had on the phone with someone. I said that the funeral was on the 8th of May, TOMORROW. She wrote down that it was on the Eighteenth. I had to repeat myself to say the information over several times and spelled words for her several times. She spelled my name as Dug instead of Doug, luckily I caught her on that one. She still got other spellings wrong! When I received the confirmation e-mail I was very dismayed to say the least. The name of the funeral home was misspelled, Mom's first and last names were misspelled and Bev was spelled as Dev. I had told the operator that Bev was spelled Bev, being short for Beverly, B-E-V. I called Teleflora right back and talked to another operator, he seemed to have an Indian accent. He assured me that he would correct the errors. I told him the flowers should be delivered today BUT he said, we will deliver tomorrow. I said that was OK BUT the funeral was at 9 AM TOMORROW and we would need the flowers delivered before the start of the funeral. He said OK to that. After the funeral we talked to a family member. There were no flowers from us there and it was quite noticeable as there weren't that many arrangements for the funeral. You can probably imagine how you would feel if you had ordered flowers for your Mom's funeral and they didn't arrive there. A while later I called Teleflora to complain, an operator brought up the file and she said, yes I see that you have ordered flowers for a funeral for the EIGHTEENTH of May! Of course I explained that the funeral was 9 AM on the 8th of May and I wished to cancel my order. Luckily it seems like the charge for the flowers was removed. The next time I have to order flowers I believe I will go through a local florist that I can see face to face. An operator that can't seem to understand English or how to spell I'll probably hang up on! I tried to correct the errors by calling back and talking to another person, their customer service was non-existent! I would steer clear of Teleflora !

They were the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. They did a just beautiful lavender rose arrangement. It was so bright, colorful, pretty and so very well done. It was just exquisite!

Beware: They use the clause "substitutions may be made...." to give you something completely different, and much cheaper, than what you ordered. The vase I chose was supposed to be a porcelain/pottery pitcher -- instead it was a cheap, plastic vase. The flowers were supposed to be a mix of daisies and roses -- instead they were cheap chrysanthumums. When I complained that I paid $60.00 for a $5.00 bouquet -- they said I had agreed to "substitutions as needed" and were unwilling to do anything. I WILL NEVER buy flowers from them again!
Description of Work: I ordered flowers on-line to be delivered to my mother-in-law in the hospital across the country. They were delivered on the date/time they said. That is the only positive thing I can say about their services/products.

This company is beyond worthless, let me Timeline the events I went through...... - On 4/16 at 9am I placed an order for flowers for a friend having a terrible day and had received bad news x2. They didn't arrive. -On 4/17 at 8am I talked to CS and told them and they stated they were really sorry, would refund 50%, give me a 50% off my next order coupon, and deliver them ASAP. Said they had delivered them at 5pm on 4/16, to which I replied is unacceptable. Within business hours does not mean you will pull up your flower truck at the end of the day screeching in to toss the flowers at the desk right at the buzzer! -4/17 1130am they called back to let me know that the floral shop had called the hospital to see if my friend was still inpatient at that hospital on 4/16 (she is a pharmacist there; I specifically wrote Pharmacy Department on the instructions, how many patients are in the department?) because they said no they just didn't deliver the flowers. They then said they are on the truck and will be delivered by noon. -4/17 430pm I called, still no delivered flowers. They stated they are on the van and will be delivered within the hour.....I said you are kidding me right? I was transferred to a manager. He then states they were delivered at 140pm. I said to who? They can't tell me. I called the hospital and no one could find the "delivered" flowers. I said this is unacceptable, how do you run your business this way. They stated they don't and would fix it. He said he would get the flowers delivered on 4/18. I stated my friend will then be in Iowa with her dying grandfather. He stated he would send them there. I said ok, although I was irritated. He said get the address and I will call you back in one hour, ok. -4/17 6pm Steve calls back. I give him the address. He states he will deliver them there and give me a full refund. I stated I didn't receive this coupon they promised. He then sent me a 35% one. When I stated earlier they said 50% he said he couldn't change it now but would upgrade my delivery to the next level. I said ok and gave him the address. -4/18 They delivered them to the hospital. Seriously? Also if I knew how to upload images Id show you the ones they sent versus the ones I picked, hideous I didn't send orange roses in a yellow bird. WTH? I received a picture of them from one of her co-workers. -4/18 7pm I call CS to explain they didn't send the flowers to my friend who is now in Iowa ( I was on hold 1 hour) The man told me they could do no more and hung up on me after I asked for a manager. -4/18 8pm (on hold 45 minutes) I talked to another woman and she said, "well let's start a new order and you can just pay for them" I said what the F***! Because by now I'm IRATE! She hung up. This company is horrible! I wouldn't recommend them for a goldfish funeral!!

Terrible. Flowers did arrive on time, but many petals on the lilies were broken or missing. The greeting balloon was not even inflated.. I contacted both Teleflora and Rainbow Flower (the local florist Teleflora contractor) along with pictures of the discrepancies. Over a week later, neither one has responded to my complaint.

On 02/15 I requested some flowers to be delivered on 2/16 to a funeral home. I placed the order online and call to follow up and make sure this was going to be done. The agent responded according to her script and was not able to instate any confidence on the delivery of the flowers. Sure enough, I got an e-mail and call on the following Tuesday 2/19 saying they were not able to deliver the flowers. I e-mailed and call back the same date. On 2/21 I called again and they had done nothing in regards of my order. I requested again to have the flowers delivered by next day and to have my money refund. On 2/22 I called again to follow up and I was told they cancelled my order on 2/21 since they did not hear from me. They transferred me to a Manager who confirmed they had updated the address I had provided them and that they were going to send the flowers out the same day. I have never had so many problems sending flowers I would not recommend anybody to use this company.

The transaction was done online. They charged me a lot for the service. The flowers were really beautiful. I looked at several sites. Everybody charged too much. But their arrangements were very pretty and they stood out. Their website was very easy to order. I didn’t have to deal with their customer service. I had to just set it up online and they took care of it. There wasn’t any problem at all.

I ordered flowers for my friend's birthday gift. OMG, the flower that was delivered was completely different than what I ordered! I called Teleflora to complain and ask for refund and they said they only refund 30% of it. In ordered to get full refund, they said they have to get the flower back. How could you do that to my friend? Finally they decided to refund 50% of it. But I will never use them again! I asked to give me the name of the flower shop who arranged the flower and delivered, and they didn't give me the name of the shop.

The arrangement was delivered and the only item that resembled the photo in the add was the Kinkade house. The add shows 11 roses on the front of the arrangement. Our arrangement had two total. When we called to complain we were told the florist would redo the arrangement. They never called or made an attempt to correct the arrangement. When we called the 800 number again we were told that you have to specify that you want the arrangement to be exactly like the picture, you should call and not order online, and you should specify which local florist to use so you get a good one. We had three other people order the same arrangement in Indiana, Colorado, and Washington and all ordered the Premium arrangement and all received less than the standard arrangement shows. There are no warnings or disclaimers that what you receive is totally up to the florist that fills the order and they are under no obligation to provide anything similar to the picture you based your order on. On the positive side two of the three orders were refunded in full and the other received most of the money. We will not use this service again. I wish we could upload pictures to demonstrate the poor quality.

Oh, how I wish I had checked Angie's List before ever ordering from Teleflora. I ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered to my aunt for the holidays. It did arrive on time. That is the only good thing I can say about Teleflora. The arrangement was not as pictured on the website. In fact, it looked like a kindergartner had put it together without any supervision. It was horrible and I was embarrassed that my name was attached to something that looked that atrocious. I sent an e-mail to customer service and the only reponse I got was that they had received my e-mail and would contact me. A week went by without a word so I called. The customer service representative had an accent so thick I could hardly understand her. Finally I got an assurance that the arrangement would be sent out again. Six days went by without a sign of another flower delivery. I called a second time and again was assured that they would send her another arrangement and would take 30% off the bill. Still nothing. I will never use Teleflora again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE from there contractor
Description of Work: Ordered flowers online for the 13th they never arrived called teleflora the next morning spoke to a rep and they said they would have to talk to the florist. Got an email confirmation that the flowers were hand delivered at 8:35am at 10am I called the recipient they never got them called teleflora back and they got the florist on the phone they said no one was there to recieve them a lie and wanted another 15 dollars to resend i refused teleflora rep said My flowers would be delivered that day at no extra charge.. Flowers finally came NOT what I paid for at all and the flowers were rotten. Called Teleflora back they were very nice and gave me a full refund plus 30% off my next order THE PROBLEM IS THE FLORIST THEY USED GREAT BLOOMS IN RALEIGH Do not use teleflora without checking who the florist is GREAT BLOOMS IS A CROOK

Ordered it for Saturday. Paid $10 extra for it to arrive before 1:00. Didn't arrive by 2:00. Phoned them, and they said, "Oh, it didn't arrive. You're right. Do you still want it?" I explained it was for a homecoming event. They said they would see if it could still be delivered from somewhere else, and the supervisor would call me right back. No phone call. Just an email saying they could deliver it another date. Oh, that would be nice -- a homecoming corsage perhaps two or three days after homecoming! But it won't let me cancel my order. Please avoid this florist!

My boyfriend ordered me flowers to be sent to my work (I work at a satelite office so he gave that address to the florist). The main location called and said that they had a delivery for me. I called my boyfriend and asked if he sent flowers, and he confirmed that he did and I told him that they were sent to the wrong location. He told me that he gave them the satelite location's address. About an hour later I recieved a call from Ethel at Lady J's (this is a contractor that teleflora uses) - she was the most rude person I have EVER talked to. She told me that MY employee sent her delivery person away (incorrect as I verified with our security guard at the front desk that NO delivery person, especially one with flowers had walked through our doors) which was a blatent lie. She then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that I am causing her company problems. I asked her why she or the delivery person did not call me (the reciepent) or my boyfriend (the sender) to verify the address if there was issues and Ethel's response was that she didn't have time since my employee sent her away and she will get the flowers to me. Ethel then told me that I was wasting her time, she would get the flowers to me and hung up on me. I would stay very far away from this florist becuase they use HORRIBLEcontractors for their arrangements. They clearly do not know anything about customer service and they lack a huge amount of common sense.

They show the picture of the arrangement online, and I order it and I have never had a problem with that. They are very good. The prices are reasonable, and sometimes they have discounts. The arrangements they send have always been appreciated and they are very well done. I think they are pretty national, at least in the east coast. They are very responsive. They are on time. They have a wonderful selection.

I ordered flowers from Teleflora on Friday, May 11. These flowers were supposed to be rushed for my mother, since it was Mother's Day weekend. I paid extra to have them delived on Saturday, and Saturday came and went without seeing the flowers. I was very disappointed. I was hoping maybe they would show up on Sunday but again, no flowers. It is now Monday morning, and still no flowers. I called the rep at Teleflora this morning. The rep explained that there was no representative in my area to deliver the flowers. I want to know why this wasn't mentioned when I placed my order. My overall experience with Teleflora was as bad as could be.

Flowers were ordered to be delivered the Friday before Mothers Day. I received an email confirmation detailing my order and charges. When I checked, the flowers were never delivered. I finally got someone in customer service on Sunday morning only to be told that they couldn't find a florist to deliver the flowers. Since this was Montgomery County, Maryland, one of the richest counties in the US I find it hard to believe. The customer service rep kept making additional offers to keep me from canceling the order, delivery the following WEDNESDAY with an apology note, then a 20% discount, etc. Needless to say I will never use this service again.

I ordered flowers for my Mother for Mother's day. They were to be delivered on 5/11. They never arrived. On 5/12 I called them, they said there was a problem and assured me they would be delivered that day. They never arrived, so they lied to me on the phone. I called them on 5/13 and they said the order was cancelled in their system. I got an email at the same time which said they wanted to deliver them on a different date, but did not say the order was cancelled. So they didn't deliver the order twice, and cancelled the order without even telling me the order was cancelled. This has to be the worst florist I have ever dealt with.

They didn't provide the flowers that I ordered, nor did they get the correct quantity. They also didn't have the correct vase. They waited until very late in the day to deliver. My wife almost missed them.
Description of Work: I have used Teleflora. The last time I used them was around Valentine's Day. I had flowers delivered to my wife.

I like their selection of prearranged flowers since the occasions were funerals. They delivered to the funeral home on time and transcribed my personal note for my loved ones.

Most of the flowers I send out tend to be out of the area or long distance away from where we live. I just go on line and use this company to deliver the flowers. In January I sent my mother roses for her birthday and she said they were the most beautiful flowers she has ever seen and she was delighted! When my mother is delighted I'm delighted. They do offer coupons which helps on the pricing. I have always been extremely pleased with their service because they have a good website and they have a network of local florist that they rely on to provide the flowers and the delivery service. I depend on them and will continue to use them again in the future.

I placed an order for flowers on 2/9/11 for delivery to my wife's work address on 2/14/12. At 6:30PM on Valentines Day, I received an email stating that they cancelled my order due to lack of product. Teleflora said they would refund my money and offered a 30% discount on my next order. Seeing as they wrecked my Valentines Day for me and my wife, I will never use Teleflora again. They had plenty of time to make sure they had flowers and they could have offered a substitution.
Description of Work: On February 9th I placed an order for flowers to be delivered on February 14th. At 6:30PM on Valentines Day, Teleflora emailed me stating that they were sorry, but they could not fulfill my order. No phone call or email prior to this time asking if they could subsitute. From Teleflora: Dear Michael, We are deeply sorry that we were unable to deliver your Valentine's Day gift on the day you requested. Unfortunately, the local Teleflora florist has sold out of your selection.

It sucked; need me to break it down for you further? If your English skills are that spotty then maybe you have a bright future with Teleflora.
Description of Work: I ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my wife on 2/7; the delivery was supposed to be on 2/13 from Buckingham Florists and the total of my order was approximately $109. 2/13 came and went with no delivery. I called Teleflora's customer service line repeatedly and spoke to a manager on one occasion who assured me that he'd call me on the 14th to make sure that my order was going to be delivered. He didn't. Otherwise I was bounced from one attendant to the next who all spoke broken English and seemed to know one gear: apologize and do no follow up. This is the lousiest example of cusomer service-and a business model for that matter-that I've ever seen. You'd be money ahead getting your flowers ar the supermarket and delivering them yourself. Never again; they haven't even responded to my inquiry about a refund.
