The accuracy of everything done on the house. They cleaned everything up. The work took about two weeks. They had to order the energy efficient paint, that has to be signed off by the State of California.

They were excellent. Their honesty was excellent. I can tell, because I use to be a police officer. I have very good intuition in people. They are doing all the work through California Energy State program for energy efficient. They have done the energy efficient paint, energy efficient roof. The county of LA is signing off on that. The they are coming to install my patio, and then the energy efficient windows.

I don't think they were the cheapest I could have found, but they did a good job. They got good subs, if there were any problems they fixed them right away. I would just give the general advice to get competitive bids and be specific about what you want. They supervise the subs really well. They were a little pushy about getting stuff done. It's important to know exactly what you want done and not be talked into anything you don't.

We had them paint, but we had to fire them, we don't want them. They promised us stuff, and they have not completed. Painting sub standard, damaged to areas, not brought to our attention.We signed the first contract, which was for painting, under the eaves, and they wanted $4400 dollars, which is ridiculous, they missed spots, it was an sub standard job, and they did not come back and fixed it. They offered to, and we signed another contract, we wanted an tankless water heater, and they put it in, wanted the washer and dryer moved into the garage, and tapped into the plumbing, and I had no issue with it. The did a good job, patching up the drywall, the tongue and groove, plaster. Some I had to clean up, some they did. I asked for an new plug, and they got an electrician at 6:30 in the morning, and he did not put in the plug, and he said he did not need too, and I knew you needed the plug. They signed us up for an tremendous amount, and with all the amounts of trouble, I don't need them. Emanual tried to get work with us, and we told him we weren't pleased. We have an temporary patch on our gas line, they damaged it. I want all this fixed up. In the contract, they wrote things they were going to do, and the painting, maybe two things they did, out of the six things they said they were going to do. They pulled $45,000 figure out of his but, out of the wall. We started the painting in November, and this is one of the things, they had one guy here, he was not dressed up as an painter, he looked like they picked him up at Home Depot, he didn't look like an painter. My feelings, its not done. All they did was under the eaves. Up in the apartment, paint were they touched the white stuff on the fence, that was not taken care of. They did sub work. The last Wednesday, and talk to what was going on, my wife touched him back, and don't bother coming out, and send us an bill,we are not satisfied. I had to call them back about the gas leak, and they did not show up until the following week to fix this. The painter, couple days we had two, and I was led four or five guys were going to be here, and be quick, and it was not.

Southwest Remodeling Inc called me BEFORE I joined Angie's list. I don't know how they got my number, but I would guess out of the phone book or from some contact list they purchased. They asked if I had any home projects they could help me get done. I told them yes and they sent out a guy to give me a quote. Their prices seemed high so I decided to get more quotes. Using google search I found a few competitors and they all gave me lower quotes and were not as pushy (the SW Remodel guy wanted me to sign the contract before he left and said he could only offer me this "lower" price if I signed soon). While I was shopping around for quotes I got a call and was asked if Southwest Remodeling Inc could send a new manager (sales-guy) because he was working in the area and thus could now offer me a better deal. Another sales guy came out and gave me an hour long talk on how great the company was, however the price was still high. I got my steps/wall redone and the shed built by 7-Point Construction at a significantly lower price (see my review of them). I joined Angie's list and found ADI who replaced my fuse-box and installed a new riser (required by SCE) at LESS than 1/2 the price offered by Southwest Remodeling. (See my review of ADI Electrical) You can give Southwest Remodeling a chance to quote if you want, but I highly recommend getting at least one competitive quote (& getting two might be a good idea).

Less than delightful. I had them do more work than they should have and it was basically a four letter word. They are a brunch of rip off artist, they have a larger umbrella organization,I ended up tossing them out of my house, I maybe thrice the age of consent but I understand how you do that you prep for first oh my God what a concept and maybe you paint the walls before you put the base ports on oh what a concept, the first toilet replacement they put in leak for a week and I said to the guy it's leaking it's leaking well what did you do what did I do that's not in my bathroom number one number two I turn the water off in the bathroom I want it replaced and that took a week when they put in a new sink in my bathroom they didn't do enough testing and I open up and they is a puddle under my sink so I had my plumber come and take care of it, the other delightful thing and I found this particular delightful is the project manager was letting my neighbors in to see what he was doing to advertise for him I thought that was absolutely abysmal do I have that much to show and tell no but I don't do that and if your gonna do that don't you think you should have gotten my permission first there's was a whole brunch they are a brunch of rip off artist I can't say anything positive about this I am still contemplating I just haven't had the time to go and file something with state because I don't think these people should be licence bounded and insured the quality of work that they did oh I have a fan in my master bedroom and when they went in and they put some LED lights in the ceiling oh we made your fan remote it worked off a light switch I wasn't able to run the damn thing for two years and it's so old that I probably going to replace it but you didn't fix it he made it worse. The paint job I have one door that doesn't work so I may have to have somebody come and determine whether are not they can fix it they didn't do any prep work so you could only put so many coats of paint on, they just do a crap job for more money than they are worth any of them are worth.

Rep was coming door-to-door in my fathers neighborhood in Garden Grove. My father wanted the roof extended in the backyard and the rep quoted him $4850 to do the work. They provided him a Home Improvement contract and took a check for 10%. Shortly there after my father was called and stated the work could not be done as the roofline would be too close to the pool and the check would be placed in the mail. This was late November, 2015. My father has contacted them time and time again, being told "..their in a meeting and will need to call you back". But they never do.

I would definitely not recommend them. They dragged it out for a long time. My original estimate was doubled. It was just a nightmare. Then, they tried to pass a fraudulent check. In fact, I should really report them to the Better Business Bureau. It was a nightmare. The people they hired weren't bad but it was the main project manager that did all this. As senior citizen, I could even probably prosecute them for senior abuse. They really took advantage of me. They sub-contracted all of it. I was happy with the paving company. Everybody else, sort of broke things and didn't finish what they had started. It took a long time to get them to finish up. I had tree trimming. I had a new deck put in. My brother finally had to finish that. It was a disaster. With the painting, their project manager said that it would look as good as new, but still be historical. My building was built in 1908. They just did a quick cosmetic job. They didn't replace boards that were rotting. They broke an antique rocking chair. They broke the faucets. They didn't repair any of it. They didn't clean up their mess. I wrote them a final check for $8000. Then, they tried to pass two checks. My checks went missing and I had to close my account. I wouldn't have even caught it, if I hadn't called that day to get my balance, that they were trying to pass two checks. The bank suggested I close the account. They were able to stop the second one. It was very bad. The owner called me when he found out that the second check didn't go through. I said, "That was a fraudulent check. You should fire your project manager. He totally misled me on everything." That week that I found out about the fraudulent check, my dog had died and I was upset over that. I didn't really want to go into too much detail with him. I just told him that I was very unhappy with their company and that I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone else.

Told me about theses paints that are resilient to termites. In the end, I found out he used regular paint. I was dissatisfied. There were also poor communication of when people were going show up for the job. Initially he said I needed an electrician to look at the patio before work started. The electrician came and told me I needed to upgrade by electrical box.
