My wife and I chose SimpleMoving because they advertised that they did not use third-party contractors or share the truck with other people moving at the same time. We also confirmed this with SimpleMoving when placing the order over the phone and they told us the same. When the movers arrived on the day of the move, they were in fact third-party contractors and not employees of SimpleMoving. The movers also told us our truck was going to be shared with another in-town move happening that day. When we contacted SimpleMoving they provided no answer as to why they renegged on their promise and pulled a bait-and-switch on us. We had no choice but to continue with these movers as it was the last day of our lease and we had to move that day. We also requested to have at lease 3 movers for our move due to the long distance involved, amount of stuff being moved, and the distance to the truck parking area and the apartments at both origin and destination locations. We had to argue with SimpleMoving over the phone about why three movers was necessary and in the end only got the three movers for the beginning of the move and then only two for the end. I will never use Simple Moving again and would not recommend them to anyone else.
