Sierra Pacific Design Ponds and Waterfalls

Jaime and his crew were creative and easy to work with. We were a small job for them but they still treated us like we were important. I would definitely recommend Jaime for anyone considering a water feature.

The quote they gave was reasonable and the final costs did not go any beyond. The whole team is experienced and knew what they were doing. The work is high quality. What we like the most is the design, which is creative and in harmony with our backyard and remaining of the house.  My husband and I are very pleased with the final product, and will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Jamie was very easy to talk to and very informative on design for the space needed. His idea of the water feature was better than what I originally thought I wanted. His team was very friendly and work efficientlt and quickly and finished in 2 days, yes 2days! Awesome.

Our initial contact with Sierra Pacific Design  was Jamie Schevers. Jamie came to our home, examined our existing pond and offered some ideas for improvement . We agreed on pond size of roughly 8 feet by 10 feet with a short stream and a couple of small waterfalls. The exact shape and size would be determined during excavation and design.  We scheduled the work to begin on Thursday (1 week later) and it was to be completed in two days, which it was.  Jamie arrived Thursday morning with a crew of 3 additional workers. He had the pond liner, pump and all supplies with him and the rocks were delivered that same day. The rough shape of the pond was excavated and the old pond liner was removed. Jamie carefully moved my koi to a temporary pond liner until completion of  the work. I was impressed with all the things that his team did automatically without any prompting from me. After the excavation was completed, the skimmer was positioned and leveled as well as the upper Biofalls filter. The entire pond was lined with an underlayment and a professional grade flexible pond liner. Large rocks were positioned around the inner walls of the pond and two small waterfalls were designed midstream between the Biofalls filter and the lower pond.  Large  rocks were positioned first with smaller rocks filled in for stability. They created a deep cave for my fish to hide in and seek protection from predators (birds and raccoons). Underwater lights (LEDs) were also positioned. An automatic fill valve was installed in the skimmer that was plumbed into my existing water supply to insure the water level is constant.
After the pond was filled and everything was confirmed to be functioning properly, they used more rocks to build up a raised planter bed around the waterfall and planted a variety of plants all around. A few plants were even anchored in small nooks in the pond (as of this writing, 3 months have gone by and they are doing great). Additional low voltage lights were positioned throughout the area to highlight different parts of the pond, including waterfalls and plants.  It all looks great.The entire team was considerate and respectful. They cleaned up at the end of each day and were careful not to trample any of our existing plants or landscape. Even the truck driver who dumped the rocks on our driveway was careful not to drive over the corner of grass at the end of our driveway. I am very pleased with the quality of work Sierra Pacific Design provided and the professionalism exhibited by the entire crew. Jamie was always available, either in person or by phone. I recommend Sierra Pacific Design. These guys are great! These guys did everything the right way without having to be told. A+

The work went very well.  We have no problems.  No issues.  They are very trustworthy if you work with and if you speak with.  They do what they say.

I had planned to go with a different company to do our water feature that was a much larger company and had a good reputation.  After that company had come out 3 times they finally gave me a final bid on the project that was significantly higher than the first estimate and all of a sudden didn't have any plants with it either.  The other company didn't get back to me and ruined my plans to get it done while my husband was on vacation. 

i was really frustrated so i tried calling Jamie at Sierra Pacific Design.  He had been out once before and was definitely the one person with the best vision, but i had decided to go with the bigger company.  But after my frustrating experience with the other company i called Jamie again.  He came out and gave me a great price, had his crew come out right away and they had the job done in 3 days. 

the initial company was going to do a 20 foot long stream with no plants for $8500 and Jamie's team did a 28 foot long waterfall/stream with LOTS of plants and lighting ($7000) and even terraced a part of our sloped yard for a dining area ($1200).  So we basically got almost half of our yard completely landscaped and it was still $300 less than the other company!  We are so pleased with our decision and delighted with our yard!  Everyone who has seen it thinks they did a great job - including the gardener and the electricians that came out.  I would definitely recommend Sierra Pacific Design and plan to use them in the future for additional projects.

I hired someone who said he knew how to do the work, put in a small pond and waterfall. I put in a 2 ft. waterfall that goes into a pond that is 8'x10'.  Turns out he didn't know what he was doing as I was losing a lot of water.  My landscaper recommended Sierra Pacific Designs, Ponds, and Waterfalls. He came and gave me an estimate on redoing the entire thing.  A week later they were here and now I have the most gorgeous waterfall and pond imaginable.  They brought in all their materials; beautiful rock and beautiful plants.  They installed the lighting.  I was having problems with my pump.  They have indicated that if I continue to have problems with my pump that they would give me one at no cost.  The crew is clean, neat, and very skilled.  I just cannot praise them enough.  Their work was just beautiful.  The old pond to the new pond is like looking at one side of a coin to the other.  It is on a timer, so it lights up at 7:30 pm and the lights go out at midnight.  The pond runs 24/7 and my neighbors love it.  They redug the pond and put in a new liner.  They hand placed the rocks and stone.  They were just so professional.  They have a great eye for detail.  They were very nice gentlemen.

Could not have been more satisfied. Jamie came to the house and met with my wife and I, gave us numerous suggestions and helped us plan the drops and pond. For the construction phase he arrived on time and he and his team completed the pond precisely on time. This beautiful pond and associated landscaping is now the centerpiece of our back yard.
