The technician was punctual and arrived at or before the scheduled appointment time. He quoted me a price of $349 for the replacement of a compressor motor and said that he had to order the correct part. The following day he returned with the compressor motor and said that now the control board was also in need of replacement. A part which he just so happened to have with him when he arrived the second day. Rather ironic to say the least. The cost of the parts and service (which took him about a total of 1 hour to complete) was $494. Way too expensive, especially after seeing how much the parts actually cost online.

I originally hired them to repair a faulty pump switch on my LG machine, which they did in a timely and professional manner. A week later, however, another, completely unrelated problem arose, namely, a door switch that stopped all activity. Once they determined that was the culprit, they ordered the part and as soon as it came in, they rushed over and two weeks of laundry finally got done! They did NOT charge a service call for the last two visits, even though technically, it was not the same problem as the first time. So here's to a service that actually does want my return business - and a good rec from AL.

Service Master was excellent in some ways; but also disappointed in other ways. My GE Profile of 13 years stopped cooling recently. I e-mailed Service Master and they were quite responsive and scheduled an appointment promptly. My girlfriend handled the visit initially. The service master technician stated that the problem was an inverter that was not working due to a leak from a water hose. He replaced the inverter (a $120 part on amazon) and charged us $865 for the work. The next day, we noticed that the refrigerator was still not working and that the temperature kept rising. Over the next week, the Service master technician came almost every day - sometimes spending as much as 2 to 4 hours trying to diagnose and fix the problem. They texted every day multiple times to help us track the the issue. The various solutions they offered were to clean out the fan and the compressor; then replacing the freon a first time and then a second time. In the end, it appears as though there was a freon leak. It may have been that there was a freon leak and the inverter was broken, it's tough to know from our end as the consumer; and maybe for the repair man. Anyways, in the end they tried to fix the refrigerator and made multiple attempts over many days, were punctual and responsive; but this may have been avoided if they were able to diagnose the problem correctly initially; however in all fairness it may have bene impossible for the repairman to know that there was a freon leak. i just wish they hadn't charged so much to start off.

I had an appointment set for Friday from 11am-1pm time slot and Service Master never showed up. I left a voicemail at 1pm asking when someone would come and they never responded to my call. They wasted my time and were completely unprofessional.

They came and identified the problem and had to order the part. Part was ordered and installed the next day. Although it was a little pricy it still cost less than getting a new refrigerator although I probably should get a new one, LOL. All in all very satisfied.

I was very impressed! After I emailed the company regarding my problem, I was contacted by Alex in less than 5 minutes - wow! He was very courteous and helpful on the phone and had a repairman out to my house that same day! - double wow! Tony, our repairman, was also very polite and knew immediately what the problem was and had all the parts on his truck to fix the problem right then . . No multiple trips back and forth to fix the problem . . . . that's what put this company over the rest for me. I would definitely use them again!

Kevin came out to the house. He seemed to know the machine and when we couldn't replicate the leak (by running the washer) he concluded that the leak must be coming from another source (it's a slow intermittent leak). And, he said confidently that if the machine was leaking that there would be water in the bottom drawer of the machine. He asked me to take pictures if I noticed the leak again. A few days later we decided to wash some clothes and the leak reappeared and a small amount of water began pooling in the bottom drawer - and the dripping of the leak along the bottom of the washer could be seen clearly. I took pictures and emailed them to Kevin. Alex called me back and said despite the pictures they were unable to diagnose the problem (even though this was the exact scenario for a leak, according to Kevin during his first visit) and wouldn't come back out to attempt a repair on the machine. These guys are a total waste of time. You'll be better off calling someone else. RW

"First of all our Service Call is $45 which you paid as by check and the other $20 you gave as a cash tip to our mechanic. On the first visit our Mechanic ran the machine though the cycle and didn't see any leaks. Also you have mentioned to us that other company has worked on this machine. In a few days you sent us a picture with a few drops of water and Kevin (mechanic) came out to your property for the second time (which you didn't get charged for) he put paper towels between washer and drawer and between drawer and floor. So we can determine what where leak is coming from. You had water in your drawer not the washer. Possible issue with the drain or condensation inside the drawer. The Washer is and works perfectly fine. When you called us for the third time, you were very rude and using profenity. WE AS A SERVICE PROVIDER, REFUSE TO SERVICE SOME ONE LIKE YOU!!!!"

I appreciated the verbal communication that it would be more cost effective to replace the appliance than to have him fix it, but it wasn't easy to understand his English and I would have rather had written direction on the problem than just verbal. I'm interested in knowing which parts specifically needed replacing so that I could attempt the repair myself, since the labor for the repair wasn't going to be cost-effective.

Great! Technician came in on Monday, ordered the part, and had it installed by Thursday. The tech was on time and in the case of the install date was even early! Bosch dishwashers are very difficult so it took a couple hours to get the door back on. All in all, a great experience and would use them again.
