Salgado's Floor Service

I live in a large landmark apartment building  built in 1928 in L.A. I had purchased carpeting to be installed  in a dressing room.  Coincedentially to my purchase, the building announced plans to recarpet all the hallways and public rooms.  I inspected the top floor when it was done. (They carpeted from the top down) It was well done, so I got Oscar (the owner's name). He looked at the space, , we made an appointment  for a time just after the completion of the building.
Oscar showed up promptly,  worked  intensely for  a little over an hour. It was only after he completed  the job did I realize how challanging it was! My 1928 art deco apartment dressing room is filled with  moulding details, curves and angles around all three doors and  and two closets.  Oscar laid that carpet with the skill of a surgeon! It is beautifully done! When he finished  he cleaned up everything and  vacuumed the newly laid carpet. The only indication he had been there was a perfectly laid carpet  in a very challenging space.
