Best in the business here in Eagle Rock. have utilized Ralph/RSG plumbing on four separate occasions to date. my home is 90 years old and has had its' share of problems/issues with plumbing...mostly major types of problems! Ralph is simply a phone call away and his response time is immediate. diagnosis of problem is impeccable; repairs are explained and completed in timely fashion. Super nice and professional. highly recommended

A pipe from the kitchen sink to the main line ruptured in the ceiling of my downstairs room, Ralph was over in less than 24 hours and fixed it. Very professional and explains everything he does, highly recommend him.

Ralph was very responsive and kind, he gave me a range estimate over the phone, explaining all the details of what the job entailed. He was able to come over in less than 24 hours, looked at the issue with the gas line, explained in details what it needed to be done and did a wonderful job in less than 2 hours. The price was exactly what he said it would be, no surprises or extra fees. He and his assistant were super nice and cleaned up everything after themselves. I’m really pleased by his work and I’m glad to have found a reliable plumber that I can call anytime needed.

Repairs were made, but a bit later the toilet leaked again. It was past the the warranty period so I called a different plumber. It appears the gasket that my toilet uses rather than a wax ring was not seated properly. I have had no further issues since this second repair.

Excellent. He owns the company, been doing it for 35 years – well spoken, his intelligence shows in his eyes, no attitude (like customers are dumb), takes care in his appearance, drives a clean, professional truck, answered the phone himself, arrived within a couple of hours right on time – and didn’t assign it to some young guy who doesn’t really know what he’s doing. I mean - the OWNER answered the phone and did the work! What's this world coming to? And best of all, the sink not only drains quickly, it gurgles - we've never heard it gurgle, ever - and makes a little whirlpool. Beautiful sight and sound. We promise to never use Drano again - did you know Drano CREATES sludge? So what - you need Drano for your Drano? Crazy. Thanks Ralph!

I was told someone would be there in an hour and - in fact - they were there in less than an hour. Two nice guys and they set right to work in the hot sun. They diagnosed the problem and solved it very quickly, considering we had to get the water company to turn off the water to the entire property. They were very clear and thorough in explaining what had happened and what would need to be done. There is still more work to do and they suggested it could be done more cheaply by a gardener who works with sprinkler systems - which you have to admit is unusual. We may have them replace the valves that are needed, even at a higher price, but in any case will certainly call them again when there is another problem.

Ralph Gonzalez is the ultimate professional who has 35 years experience in the business.  
We were pretty desperate and felt fortunate he was able to arrive within 2 hours.  He adjusted his schedule the next day to be able to find the parts and finish the job.  While this work was a surprise we felt very fortunate for the gas company inspection and Ralph's knowledge and expertise.  While the cost was a bit staggering, I beleive it was a fair number given the hours involved and the problems solved.

He was on time and checked out the problem and he seemed honest and reliable and it turned out he was. He came to do the job when he said he would and went above and beyond the call of duty to get the work done quickly and well. I would use him again and was very happy with the work.

We had called two other companies the night before to try and get our broken water heater replaced. I finally reached one this morning at 7am but they couldn't come until tomorrow "between 9 and 2". We decided to take another look at the Angie's List search and called this local plumber - who came out within an hour, gave us a quote and said he could the job today - and then was back within an hour with the water heater. Ours was in a difficult to reach spot but they got the old one out, the new one in without much trouble. They even gave me a little discount for paying by check. Will definitely use them again.

Ralph and RSG Plumbing & Heating has provided plumbing and heating services to my family's rental properties, to my home, to my sister's home and to my father's home for many, many years. He always provides excellent service in all of his capacities.  He has also assisted us in many, many emergency plumbing and heating situations.  He is trustworthy and his prices are great.  My father needed his toilets replaced, so, today, Ralph traveled over an hour to do the job without hesitation.  There is no one like Ralph and his crew!

All in all, I'm happy with the work that Ralph did for me.  He visited the day after I called him to inspect the job and bid on it.  He had the lowest price bid, estimating $3,500 to $3,800, so I called him and made an appointment for him to come and start the work. Come 9:30am on the day he was supposed to show up, he wasn't there, so I called him.  He admitted he had forgotten that he had scheduled my job for that day, and we arranged another day, 4 days after, for him to start.  
Once he started, his work was excellent, and took two days as he estimated.  He was able to restore my ability to use the plumbing overnight, between the two work days, which was nice.  
In the end, the price was slightly higher than his high bid, because I asked him to reinstall a toilet while he was there.

Ralph quickly ascertained that our neighborhood in the hills has lower PSI than homes below us.  He suggested that I replace my Delta faucets to see if water flow improves and to let him know if does not.  Our area pressure may require an additional regulator on our main line.  He then snaked out blockage.
Because of his ratings on Angie's List and as an Eagle Rock  business owner we selected RSG a year ago to do some work for my mother-in-law in Pasadena.  She was very satisfied with his work then as I am with him today.  He made some honest, lower cost recommendations for me to pursue first to see if it addresses my problem. 
We're in need of a new family plumber since our old plumber moved out of the area last year  I think we've found someone.

I discovered a leak under the kitchen sink and called this company. My call was answered right away. Ralph was courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. Both he and Sam worked carefully and stayed on task until the job was done. They were careful to protect our floors and to clean up afterward. I will definitely use them again.

Prompt, responsive, and professional. Ralph was up front about the job and the potential cost changes depending on what happens when he starts the job. He did an amazing job, even after having to dig a trench in the front yard, you'd never know it after he finished the work. Our water pressure is now improves and water heater is to code. Very happy to have a reliable and honest plumber close by in our neighborhood!

Ralph was punctual, professional, and on budget with his estimate -- with only a minor uptick in the cost because he found a developing blockage in one of the pipes, which he was able to resolve. Ralph was also willing to work with us to resolve some scheduling difficulties in order to address this problem quickly. Most importantly, found Ralph to be a good communicator who was able to clearly explain the issues with our system and the scope of the work. We would definitely call on him again.

I called Ralph, owner of RSG Plumbing, on a Saturday afternoon after I noticed I had no hot water.  I went to check the pilot on my water heater and noticed the water line leading into the water heater had sprung a leak.  I called Ralph and he showed up at my home an hour later.  He was very personable and very professional.  He replaced my leaky pipe and valve without incident.  His rates were reasonable.  I will definitely be using him again in the future and recommending him to my neighbor.

He and Sam cleaned up the mess, ordered new parts for the flooded air conditioner ducts and even fixed an unrelated problem with the water heater. They installed a new toilet handle and then returned the next day with the new parts for the air ducts. Each part of the procedure came with a careful and detailed explanation and they were courteous, clean and efficient. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and will never use another company for my plumbing, air con and heating needs! Thank you Ralph!
