Paul came out with his lead man for an estimate. This was a repair not replacing the entire roof. He replaced a roof on another building 4 years ago. Once again this job was done in time stated. Fernando ran the job. His crew was professional. There was not any mess left behind. Communication was very good. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I have used Rooftoppers for the past 20 years. Always great. Prices more than competitive. What makes them stand out is the quality of the work, the cleanliness of the job site and the workers are not derelicts. And the boss is my favorite. Paul is a pleasure.

When thinking about a big job, you get numerous estimates from sources such as Angies List, friends' recomendations, or roofing supply store references. You are apprehensive about the choice for signing a contract, and only feel some relief when you spent time with the company rep, and then talking to the crew foreman of the contractor. Rooftoppers' proposal contract was in the middle of the price range of my estimates, and had a good recomendation from a friend and neighbor, as well as good reviews on Angie's List.

The tear off of old cedar shake went very fast. They protected all surroundings with tarps, and the cleanup was to my wife's liking. The nailing of the plywood was very efficient, and they took their time to make adjustments to the edges of the plywood so that they were well supported. The next morning the materials were loaded on the roof by the supplier, and the crew installed the vents, applied peel and stick weather guard under the metal valleys and around the flashings, and applied the 30lb paper. It was water proof by the end of the day. The foreman was willing to answer my questions and explain some of his techniques learned over numerous years of experience. The crew took extra time around our chimmey to make sure there will be no leaks.The crew worked steady and carefully when nailing the shingles, and the result looks good, with straight lines and matched sections. The crew was very professional, and cleaned up as they worked, with a complete sweep of the area at the end of the work day.

An inspector came by, and all the permits and workmanship were up to code, and he left satisfied. There was someone from the
office, including the owner, to check on the work every a day. The owner came by again near completion, to walk the roof and answer any concerns.

I rained the evening after completion, so I went into the attic to check for leaks around vents and pipes, and everything was dry.
Great experience, a good value for the money. My hat is off to Rooftoppers!

Don Oelrich (the project manager here) is the kind of contractor you always want to deal with. Responsive and on top of the job.

I dealt with Don Oelrich. Everything was handled professionally at all stages. The roof looks great. All debris removed. My garage is on the boundary line so obviously some debris went into my neighbor's garden- he actually came over to say how impressed he was with the way they handled the clean-up on his side.

I had a problem with the roof after installation. They came out right away and replaced the roof at no additional cost.

Don, a senior project manager, came out the same day that I called. He was exceptionally nice. He explained to me that Rooftoppers does roofs and gutters, but usually not minor repairs. My job was a minor repair, but he said he could send a crew over between large projects. They were scheduled for the next day, but Don called and said he had a crew that could come in an hour! They came on time, fixed the leak, installed a new downspout, and cleaned out my gutters! I haven't received the bill yet, so I can't comment on the price, but I have a feeling it will be very reasonable. Great experience.

THEY'RE VERY GOOD. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE PEOPLE WERE GOOD, VERY RESPONSIBLE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE VERY WILLING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS, AND THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE.
