they wanted $19k to install a very basic central air. however, they offered 20% discount. the remaining balance is $17k. I'm not asking for top for the line equipment, but this 17k is VERY EXPENSIVE for a basic Raheem unit. I'm not happy with home Depot to pick them as a contractor. can't trust them again.

July 2016: Sales, service, and installation of the A/C add-on unit was outstanding. Rick (aka Comfort Advisor) was responsive and frequently checked-in with us to make sure the job was being done to our satisfaction. Although the cost was more expensive than competitors, we enthusiastically recommended RighTime to friends and coworkers who expressed interest in getting A/C as well. Summer/Fall 2017: After a little over a year, our A/C unit has already stopped working. Attempting to have a RighTime technician conduct a warranty repair has been one of the more frustrating experiences. Using their slick online website, we submitted an appointment request in September. After failing to hear from them (10 days), we made a second attempt both online and via phone. An appointment was made, but no technician shows. We again contacted the business both online and via phone. The charade continued for 3 additional attempts, with representatives assuring us each time that someone will call us back. No one does, and we initiate contact each time. RighTime sets up Appointment #2 and then Appointment #3 (no-shows for both, despite our calls and check-ins for confirmation). Appointment #4 has been scheduled, and supposedly the supervisor will contact us tomorrow. After six attempts and three missed appointments, our trust in the company has waned. We are disappointed that their pride in customer service seems to end once final payment is received. We are hopeful that RighTime will be able to rectify these issues of the last two months, and we can provide an update to our review as needed. Until then, we rescind our recommendation of RighTime and advise that consumers find a different business that is reputable both for their initial and ongoing service.

We had them for a while. I liked that the system that they put in was so much better than our last system. I was just very happy with them. I haven't had any trouble at all. I do use them, I have a contract with them.

Salesman for the company came out on Tuesday, 07.05.2016, for a quote to install air conditioning. Besides being a typical salesman employing the typical salesman tactics, he actually had the audacity to insult me to my face. My husband was unable to make it home in time for the appointment and the salesman asked if he should reschedule for a time when my husband was home because he could probably "better understand the questions being asked". Now, I may not be Bob Vila, but I understand enough about slimy salesmen to not need my husband around for an air conditioning estimate. In regards to the actual estimate, he said we needed a number of additional items that were unnecessary. RighTime was our fourth A/C company to provide a quote and they were the only one that tried to tack on additional items. Needless to say, we will not be using them and we will never recommend them to anyone.

This was a nightmare. A few hours later the service man
called and said he left his equipment at our home could he come by and
pick it up. We said sure and when he returned said that the fan was not
working and that the circuit board needed to be replaced for $900. We
were very suspicious. We called another AC company recommended by a
friend, All Temp Controls and they came out and advised us that the tech
had disconnected two wires to prevent the fan from working. We did not
need a new circuit board.
This was a horrible experience, even fraud, and after many years of misleading information, we finally fired them and hired this new company. BTW, One Hour did install both of our AC units and there were always problems. They are awful!

At about the 11th month after service, I started to receive reminders that service was due before a years time had past. We were enrolled in the free service for a year program courtesy plan. The actual name escapes me at the moment. After calling and setting up the first appt. and waiting hours in my and quot;windowand quot;, they called and said they had an emergency and needed to reschedule for another day. This happened at least 2 more times with me waiting hours on end for them to show. Finally, the year marker past and the warranty was up before the service even happened. A week later, the heat was not working and my boss found their card on her fridge and called them. I would have never let that happen. They came out that day and after an inspection on the roof, holding a temp gauge of some sort to her heating vent telling her she could and quot;burn upand quot; and then telling her that and quot;nobody works on Lennox anymoreand quot; and that it would cost about $3500 to fix so she should just replace the unit. She called me and I flipped out. I called my friend who works on a building I own with four units and he came out right away. He proceeded to replace a part that cost $300 including service, said the unit had at least a few good years left and told us she was getting scammed. This was weeks ago and the heat/air works like a charm. I was appalled and called the company right away. In fairness to them, the manager called my back right away with a strong apology and an offer to do anything to get us back as costumers. He was very nice. I thanked him for his follow up and his kindness but told him I would not be using their service again and I will not. Ever. Not a happy camper.

I had initially called for one hour service on our heat pump that was blowing cold air, but they were overbooked because of a recent weather change. The call center was quick to let me know that they would not make it in rather than making me wait. I scheduled an appointment for another day and the technician arrived on-time and very professional. He found the problem right away and replaced the broken part. He suggested signing up to have it cleaned out because it had not been cleaned in several years and that was affecting performance. He was not pushy, so I did sign up and they are coming back next week because it was too late in the day to start that that day.

My air conditioning unit was trying to click on but could not start so I called my AHS insurance to send someone out. The AHS provider company could not come out for two days, so I called One Hour AC because 100 plus degree weather was forecast for the whole week. I was thrilled to find out that One Hour could send someone that afternoon. The tech arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as needing a new compressor, dual capacitor, hard wire start kit and contractor. He wrote up an estimate for $2850 and said he could install it the next morning. While i felt compelled to hire him on the spot because I had a house guest and have an elderly dog, I bit the bullet and decided to wait to see what the AHS-provider AC company would say (they also would cover the cost of the replacement through the insurance, if necessary). So I paid the $99 consult fee and waited. After moving out of the house for two days as the temperature spiked at 105, the AHS-provided AC repair person finally arrived and fixed the unit in 15 minutes. The reason the unit was not stating, he told me, was apparently a relay issue with a power booster that was attached to the unit. I paid a $75 consult fee. Then I called One Hour to tell them the story and lodge a complaint. I have not heard back from One Hour.

The guy who came out to make the quote was very friendly and on time, and the workers who came out were equally friendly and on time. I made a mistake by not getting a formal bid from them. I also decided just to buy a Air system from them. They told me that they would contract a professional company come in and remove my vespas for us. But that didn't end up happening they removed it themselves. The quoter promised to replace our registers but the workers knew nothing about that, and when called the man who told me they would, he said that he had no recollection of it, although my wife and I both did, so they were never replaced.
