On the first hot day of the season, we turned on our A/C and the fan came on but the compressor did not, so we were only getting warm air through the vents. We called several HVAC repair companies, but they either wouldn't return our call or called, set up an appointment but never showed up. Fortunately, a friend recommended RICK CAMPOS PLUMBING AND HEATING. I made one call to them -- they answered on the second ring, took my information and said a technician would call me back to schedule an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from the technician (Eduardo) within 20 minutes -- he came out the very next day. Eduardo also phoned when he was on his way, arrived on time and was very pleasant, professional and eager to help us get our A/C going. It took him a just few short minutes to determine that two wires had apparently been disconnected when our heater was repaired, he reconnected the wires and now everything is back in working order. The repair was covered as part of the minimum $95 service fee.
Before we found RICK CAMPOS PLUMBING AND HEATING, we called the company that repaired our heater and asked if perhaps something had happened during their repair of the heater that would disable the A/C. The person who answered the phone didn’t know the answer and said he would look up our repair record and have someone call us back. We never received that call. I have now contacted that company and requested they reimburse us for what we had to pay to RICK CAMPOS to fix their mistake. If they do not comply, I will be doing a follow-up review of that company.
"{Member's name}, We have not worked for you in over two years and it really isn't fair that you decided to give us an undeserved "F" rating on Angie's list because we politely decided to not work for you. During the 6 years that we worked for you, we had a very hard time collecting payment for just about every invoice we sent out to you. We had to call and email you numerous times only to have you haggle and try to bring down the price for you. We provided you with great service for many years but unfortunately we could no longer work for you knowing how you do business. We value all of our customers and they appreciate our good work and honest prices."
