Within a week we realized irrigation was insufficient, which they came by to "fix" but didn't resolve anything. Those plants died pretty soon. Part of the DG was washed away and in our street instead of where it should be.
Lots of plants started dying, and Yossi came by after many many many calls and texts, and agreed they needed to be replaced. It's been over 4 months now, he's not replaced any plants and I can no longer reach him.
Lighting started dying and flickering within three months, and Yossi said the light bulbs just needed to be replaced and he'd take care of it. That was several months ago. The lights still flicker and there are short circuits, several lights don't work at all. I would not recommend letting them put in lighting as they don't use an electrician and have no way to make sure things are safe and properly done.
Yossi demanded payment in full the last date of the project. We should not have paid him then, and recommend if you do use him waiting 3-4 months at least to make sure he returns to follow up on things. We were sad, as we had at least two other projects we were going to use Yossi for, but now cannot.
"you have a mistake my company never did any job in this address"
This was a big deal purchase. It went okay. We did not move forward. It kind of felt a little disappointing. After the deal he delivered pictures and it was almost comically funny. He took a few pictures of stone and then just kind of cut and pasted random pictures of plants on top of that. It did not really give us a clear picture of what we were looking for. And then he gave us a quote for, like, $17,000 and so I told him thanks for his time. He was timely and certainly friendly. It really felt like he came out and charged us to just give us an estimate. To get a better grade from me he could have delivered clearer pictures and a better understanding of the vision he would have been designing.

I had 3 landscape companies quote out my project: one top-of-the-line design group and two more 'regular' contractors, of which Rainforest LA was one. Yosi of Rainforest LA was the most prompt, with a proposal the very same day, the most reasonably priced, and overall had the greatest air of ease to work with (quick to understand what was needed, provide options, make it happen, end up on budget and on time).
After signing, the project was estimated to take 2 weeks, but in fact it was completed 100% on budget and per the specifications in a week and a half. The team was there promptly at 7:30 every day and worked hard, non-stop the entire time they were on site. Yosi came to coordinate with us and supervise the team / assess the progress every single day.
The materials that he chooses (e.g., outdoor lighting, irrigation, wood) are high-end; he does not cut corners here. The plants and organic material (e.g., mulch) that he uses are strictly organic, which I also appreciate.
When we ran low of some existing gravel we were reusing in the new design, he threw in some material for free to complete the look. He even came to visit a week after the work was completed to make sure everything was still as it should be and that we were happy.
This is a company and person I highly recommend. They are pros, fast, experienced, reliable, and priced fairly.
Full context: we were pretty decided on what needed to happen where and thus used the company mostly as an executor, not too much as a designer. I know this is a capability they have as well, and clearly they have a LOT of experience in all things from hardscape and construction to custom design and planting, but our project was predominantly executing (which they did excellently).

"we do not involved with the city rebates only the owner"
The demo took about one day. Yosi worked with us and our neighbor and delayed the back fence work so it was convenient for our neighbor. He also took down and rebuild the fence in one day which was a huge help. I met Yosi at the nursery to pick out plants and he really made the process go much smoother. The whole process was actually very smooth and simple. The steps they build in the back are very strong and look good. The gate is well balanced and very functional. The raised planter box is actually much nicer that I expected. They left the job clean and neat. Overall it was a very good experience and our yard looks great! We would hire Yosi again.

So within 24 hours of buying the said "deal" Yosi contacted me immediately to set up an appointment to see what landscaping I needed done.
He was on time for the appointment and we went over the what I wanted done to some DIY landscaping that I did but eventually turned into a jungle. The next day Yosi sent me the quote and a listing of plants with pictures. So after issues with scheduling on my side since I needed Rainforest to work on the Friday I was at home, two months later I was finally able to get this service sceduled.
Yosi and his crew showed up on time, right before 8AM and he said in an hour he would have all of the plants set up and where they would be planted. His 4 workers demoed the whole strip in about an hour and Yosi had all of the plants setup. He walked us through the care of each plant and luckily I picked a number of succulents. We took off for a few hours and when we came back everything was planted and the crew was working on installing the drip system.
After Yosi left to drop off the dirt and old shrubs he returned with a bunch of mulch, that they used to cover the ground and drip system. He also planted ground cover that would eventually take over the mulch. After everything was done Yosi helped reprogram the sprinkler system. Hi crew cleaned up and it looked like there were no workers there at all.
All in all Rainforest Inc did an awesome job but once again I did not the $399 for two landscapers for a day on Angies list not really a deal since I think in the end I would have ending up paying that much anyway.
