Preferred Remodeling

This was the worst thing I had ever experienced. They painted my house and charged my credit card 11.000.00 and did a horrible job. I have been trying to get in touch with them and all the numbers are changed and the people are saying they no longer work there. I’m filing a law suit.

We can’t say enough about the professional service that Vince at Preferred Remodeling provided from start to finish with coordinating and facilitating the installation of our new Owens Corning shingle roof! We got suckered into this company and the biggest mistake of our lives. They are overpriced for mickey mouse work. We agreed that for 3 projects that should've been done in 6-8 days... but it took over 2 months for "jobs" to be complete. To this date, our gate is botched and won't lock properly. They left their trash here for a long time and took months to patch up part of the house that is exposed. They made us give them the last check prior, if not they weren't going to finish the work... in good faith and a post-dated check, they cashed it anyway (prior to dated check). We are furious about all of this. 3 simple jobs for $20K and it's been so difficult. NEVER AGAIN! DON'T hire them! Most recently due to the rain, our garage has now flooded TWICE destroying furniture and electrical units (thousands of dollars in value). The remodel did not work. We have reached out to the company and they sent out another Sales Man vs. Contractor or Project Manager, he was RUDE and now UNRESPONSIVE. I am reporting them to the BBB and seeking legal counsel now.

Preferred remodeling was extremely professional and did a fantastic job. They worked diligently and completed the job in less than 2 days. Vincent and his crew were very pleasant and easy to work with. Also, from the other estimates we received they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. Very much price competitive. Highly recommend them and will call them again for our other projects in the near future.

I was blessed to find an experience and personable contractor in Vincent Carlos, Preferred Remodeling. After interviewing 4 contractors, Vincent was the one that listened to what I wanted to do with remodeling a 28 year old kitchen. The other contractors were opinionated about what I should do rather than listen to what I was proposing. The project started Mar 2021 and finished June 2021. * Reasonable Estimate/Flexible: Vincent's estimate was reasonable and he was flexible in adding on things needed throughout the building process. He easily inserted changes we asked for not anticipated earlier in the project. * Outstanding Communication: Vince kept us apprised of all the subcontractors and when they were to arrive and accomplish their tasks such as demoing 6 walls, plastering and sheet rocking walls, painting, installing plumbing and tile, installing new lighting and installing kitchen appliances. The subcontractors were neat and clean. * Met All Timelines: All work scheduled was on time and Vince kept things moving according to his plan. * Professional Suggestions: Vince always suggested things by giving options and allowed us to pick what worked best for us. For example, in picking out the slabs for the counter tops and backsplash, he went with us to assist in our selections. * Pre Kitchen Model Blueprint: Vincent suggested a designer provide a blueprint of what the kitchen would look like when finished. It was helpful for us to make changes when we saw what the kitchen would look like. * Outstanding Contractor: Vincent is someone you can trust with your project. He is honest, fair, and works with customers to ensure they are satisfied. He oversees the subcontractors work to ensure it is done correctly. I cannot say enough great things about Vincent Carlos and Preferred Remodeling. My kitchen is beautiful thanks to Vincent and his staff. Look no farther when selecting a contractor. With out a doubt Preferred Remodeling should be your choice.
