Pieter responded to my early morning email inquiry with a phone call almost as fast as I sent it out. He gave a no nonsense, reasonable price quotation immediately over the phone based on square footage and description of the work. And, he stopped by that same morning to confirm the job. His guys were out the next day and finished (a second coat was needed to finish a day later, again, without complication). He communicated by text just as I requested and no complications or delays ensured. This was the cleanest logistics I have ever dealt with on any project or any sized involving scheduling a home repair/visit/inspection, etc. As for the job... Perfect. The price is only a 4 of 5 since Pieter does have a minimum and anyone would expect. However, comparing his price with others, I am more inclined to give him a 5 even there. He said he would discount me on future work on my home, and I will be taking him up on that within a year or 2. Highly recommend Pieter, highly.

Pieter Rousseau is very professional and did very high quality installation of underlayment, waterproof vinyl planks, and base moulding throughout the condo including the kitchen and bathroom. It passed the sound test and looks beautiful. The work was completed in a timely manner. Pieter arousseau and his crew are very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Pieter showed up on time for all appointments. He provided an estimate in a timely fashion and followed up with text messaging. His crew showed up on time, prepped the areas carefully to minimize dust and completed the work in a single day, working around some other workmen how also need to be there at the same time. The end result was excellent, and you cannot tell where the sanded and refinied floor ends and the original varnish begins. Could not ask for better

His crew of 2 showed up on time and did an excellent job. It took them only 2-1/2 hours to complete the job, and they matched the board so perfectly that I can't identify the replaced board. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

Pieter was very responsive and easy to talk to. It was a breeze scheduling time for an estimate. Pieter was willing to work around my schedule and he and his crews were kind and professional. The only problem was the dust and the crews left the old carpet in front of the garage after day 1. But everything was cleared away when the job was finished (which didn't take long). The crews worked fast and did a great job.

Pieter is a very pleasant man to deal with, makes good suggestions and did an excellent job. The engineered wood flooring he recommended was very reasonably priced and looked as good as much more expensive products. ( I looked around a lot before deciding to accept his suggestion). However, I am still waiting for a receipt I requested, which I obviously will need for tax purposes.

The floors turned out better than I ever expected them to.  They were old and stained and scuffed, and Pieter was able to get most of the stains out and shine them up.  If I had hardwood floors in my own home, I'd hire him in a second.  They turned out beautifully.  Thank you, Pieter!

Both jobs went great and were exactly what I wanted.

A little bit of a rocky start. Peter, who was responsive when I initially called him, came and saw our space, agreed to the work at a discounted price and left us to decide. I called him a couple of weeks later to schedule a date. Unfortunately, on the day he was to be at our house, he had confused the dates and had double booked himself and his crews. Very apologetic, we arranged for his guys to come the following day. The crew of two was great. They were efficient and did great work. The floors look like new and the resulting work was exactly what we had hoped for. Only issue with their work was that they did not put tape on the baseboards and, as a result, there are some stains on the baseboards from the stain/finish that was put on the floors. If we weren't planning on painting the room sometime soon, I'd be more upset. But we will be painting and the mistake will be rectified. Overall, a very positive experience with a small hiccup to start. Great work, great, effiicient communicative and very competent crew.

Pieter is efficient and responsive. He gave me a quote, came by to see the rooms within a couple of days, and we scheduled for about 2 weeks later. The 2 workers he sent were punctual and courteous. I returned two days later to beautiful floors.

Peter - he came into do estimate for hardwood floors. My husband was under the impression he was going to do the work. as soon as we signed, the guy sub contracted the work out. It wasn't what we envisioned of how it would look. the floors were okay. I expected more in terms of how to remove the stains and give more of a gloss.

Pieter did an amazing job with such an awesome price.  I called around different places to get quotes to refinish my floor.  I have a 2000 sq. foot house that is completely covered in carpet.  I was getting crazy high prices with other vendorS until I spoke to Pieter.  I spoke to him and was skeptical about his work with such competitive pricing.  I did some searching on Yelp and Angie'slist and read the many positive raving review about his work.  I decided to go for him and am so glad I did it.  His crew came and did everything in 4 days.  They were neat and very detail.  MY FLOOR LOOKS AMAZING FOR FRACTION OF THE COST OF OTHERS.  If you are looking to get your hardwood installed, replaced, or replenished, LOOK NO FURTHER!

They arrived on time, were very careful removing our furniture, and complete professionals. The results were outstanding and Pieter oversaw each stage including blending newly refinished floors with ones that were not done. I couldn't be happier!

Amazing job!  It all went so smoothly.  Everything was explained, and everything went as scheduled.  But best of all, the job they did was unbelievable.  I bet anyone looking at the floor would have a heck of a time trying to figure out where the repair was made.  The color match they did with the attached rooms, too, was really phenomenal.  How do you match a color, using 100 year old wood, with all the aging and changes?  I don't know, but they did it.  And they did everything so carefully, and cleaned up the huge mess they made just as quickly as they made it--  redoing hardwood floors is a messy business! But if you came at any point after the workers had left for the day, you wouldn't know it.
If you are serious about your floors, you should seriously consider calling this company for an estimate. I can't imagine why anyone would ever pick any other company, other than Rousseau.  He and his workers were simply the best, I can attest to that and there is no doubt I will use them again if the need arises.

Pieter's crew were great and very skilled at refinishing hardwood floors.  They arrived on time and moved the heavy pieces of furniture from our family room.  They sanded, stained, sealed, and applied two coats of polyurethane to the floor.  The floor looks terrific and we are very happy with outcome.
