It went well over all.  $138 seems to be bit too much, but if he only recommends once a year.  It may be all right.

He likes to work late, take his time which is all to the good since he was able to make this antique piano sound great.

It went fine. He tuned the piano fairly quickly, and did a great job. I would recommend him and use him again.

I was very happy with him.  We had a piano that hadn’t been tuned in a long time and it was an old piano.  He was able to tune it for us and he did a good job.  He came out when he said he would.  The piano sounds much better after he left.  My wife was happy with his price.

.Mr. Murphy arrived at my home and spent the next three hours, perfecting the piano problems.  He did not rush, he brought w/ him all the necessary tools to accomplish the job.  Once completed,  he took the time to explain to me what he did AND gave me a little history about my piano.

I would hire Mr. Murphy again.  He was very pleasant, professional and extremely knowledgeable.  I definetely would recommend him highly to any member who wants a positive experience.

Jeff Murphy is a very experienced piano tuner, and he's works for famous musicians as well as your "average" piano player. When I called him for service, he quoted me how much it would be over the phone and was ready to come and tune my piano right away. We scheduled a date and a time, but for some reason early evening worked best for him, instead of afternoon. He was scheduled to come at 6, but it was at least 7 when he arrived. I called him to follow up and make sure he was coming, and he said he'd tried to call me, but had written my number down incorrectly. Once he arrived he was very nice and immediately got to work tuning the piano. Overall it took him almost two hours, but I think it's because it was the first time I'd had my piano tuned in years and there was a lot of work to do. I will definitely remember to call him next year so my piano won't get so out of tune!
