Peet's Tech Services

We have used Peet's Tech Services for our business's tech needs for several years.  We first met Peet when he was a technician for a larger computer services company.  After he left that firm the new techs never measured up, so we were thrilled when Peet went out on his own.  Peet is terrific.  He is very responsive and accommodating as far as scheduling appointments and is always on time.  Peet helps us with everything from setting up our devices and systems to troubleshooting and resolving problems.  He usually knows the answer, but if he doesn't he will exhaust all avenues until he figures it out.  One of Peet's best qualities is his patience.  He explains things in a way that is easy to understand and never makes one feel dumb for not being tech savvy.  That's why we hire a professional like Peet!  Highly recommended.

As usual, Peet was amazing! He handled everything (and sometimes 2-3 things at once) without breaking a sweat! He answered all of my questions in ways that I could understand, not being impatient or patronizing or anything.
He's funny and charming and all of the things you wouldn't expect a computer guy to be! An absolute joy to have in my home.

I had purchased a new computer which Peet had recommended based on what my nearly nine year old computer was doing.  He e mailed me a couple choices.  I bought one of them on line at a very good price.  We  set up a date for the work.  He  arrived on time and it took a couple of hours to download info from my old one.  We did loose "internet source" and had to call for tech support.  Connections to my printer,  speakers etc.  did not take much time.  Before leaving., I had him connect a new vcr-dvd combo to my tv in one of my bedrooms.  Peet is very knowledgeable about computers.

Bottom line, you can hire Peet for just about anything technical, and if he doesn't have the solution immediately, he'll aggressively figure it out.  He is prompt, efficient, and super personable.

One of the most helpful times that Peet saved the day was over the Holiday Season.  I had just finished separating my business contacts from personal contacts in my computer address book.  Just as I was finishing this laborious task of organizing over 2000 contacts, my computer froze and when I went to restart it, all of my hard work was gone!  I called Peet and within 10 min. he was able to gain remote access to my computer from his home office and fix my problem, recovering all of my organized contacts.  Thanks to Peet, my business was able to send out Holiday Cards this year!

Oh, and one last great thing about Peet.  He is so organized that he type notes on what he does for you during a each session and emails you a copy and himself, so nothing is forgotten or lost.  Now that is great customer Service!

I've used Peet for my home and office computers, Macs and PCs, but this was the first time I've had Peet deal with my televisions and satellite service.  Although I've had satellite TV and DVRs and VCRs for years, none of them "played well" together.  DirectTV had been out several times over the years upgrading products, one TV was good for watching but DVR only worked one channel at a time, one could record while watching another show but needed two remotes and a lot of different juggling to make it work, and the big screen TV required 3 remotes -- one for watching DVDs, one for recording to the DVR, and one just to turn it on. Peet was just as terrific with the entertainment set up as he has been with my computers.  Got all my remotes in sync, confirmed that the satellite tech guy did what he was supposed to do, and patiently reviewed instructions with me until we were each sure I knew how it all worked.  And, in addition, in a relatively simple few minutes he got me launched into a Password set up on my computer that is easy AND secure.  AWESOME!!

He came in assessed the problem answered some techy questions I had and it was always with a smile and a chuckle.

I found him through an online reference. He replied quickly and handled the job well!

Peet has been my personal computer guy for years, I couldn't live without him.
He shows up on time, he's as sweet and professional as can be, and always fixes all my problems. He goes the extra mile to make sure that my computer and TV will have as few issues in the future as possible.
I can throw anything at him - my computer (from email to viruses to backup to cloud stuff), phone, Bluray player, universal remote, whatever! He is a brilliant problem-solver and working with him is an absolute joy.
The only person I've ever met who can explain technology to me in a way I understand!
