The owner of the compony came out and gave me a quote.  I previously cancelled the opointment but he showed up anyway.  I decided to get the quote.  We scheduled an appointment for the following Monday to have the work done.  Monday came but he didn't.  No call, no show.  Very dissappointed.  I will find a local guy in the neighborhood to do the work.

I called Mr. Kim multiple times and he took my phone number and address and set up an appointment to give me an estimate. He never showed up. I called back and he said he will return the call to set up next appointment. He never called back. I called back and he doesn't answer. If he feels he can't do the job he should just say so instead of giving me the run around. I would not recommend this guy to anyone.

I contacted Peace Welding to repair my front gate, which was leaning and difficult to open and close. The owner came to look at the gate and gave me an estimate, which I accepted and we agreed that he would come the next day to do the work. He came with his welder to do the work, and the gate now works well. It was a bit more work than he anticipated, as the lock moved upward by straightening the gate and an adjustment had to be made. As a result it ended up costing a little more, but it was very fair.

I found Peace Welding on Angie's List and called Mr. Kim. He answered right away, I explained my issue and he said he could come over in a couple hours for an estimate. He came within two hours and said the dishwasher door needed rivets, not welding but he could do it. He came the next day, 20 minutes early, and shored up both sides of the door. He was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant.

Mr. Kim scheduled to meet with me at 7 a.m.. I had requested a later time since I do not live at the property. I was there at 7 a.m. and left at 7:40. Although he had my cell phone, he did not call me. When I call him at 9:15, he stated that he could not find the property and that he had lost his phone book.

We had a problem with rats coming in through our old crawlspace screens that the rats had made holes in over the years. Mr. Kim was extremely responsive and came out to measure up only an hour or so after my initial call on Friday. I told him that I wanted a crawlspace cover that was rat proof and sturdy. He made a sketch of what it would look like; it looked a lot better than I imagined. He returned on Wednesday with his assistant to install it. It's made out of iron and is bolted to the concrete on our patio. It's like a lid and you just lift it up to access the crawlspace. It can also be locked. He primed and painted it and it looks great! He did a terrific job. Thanks Mr. Kim.

Showed up on time gave proposal and did the job in workman like fashion as proposed.

It didn't go. The contractor couldn't be less professional.

I called the number listed, and a machine picked up immediately. The recorded voice didn't identify the company, and directed the caller to leave a message for a different phone number than the one listed. I figured I mis-dialed, and decided to call the next day when I had more time. The next day, same thing. Didn't feel like leaving a message on an anonymous welder's machine, so I hung up. They should get their info straight on the machine, or better yet, they should think about answering the phone.

I called Mr. Kim on Friday. He came Saturday morning to give me an estimate for the job. He had excellent suggestions and we agreed on what needed to be done. His price was very fair since I had received a bid for $500 just for the screening when we secured the gate two years ago with an electric striker device. Monday morning he arrived with a helper and did the work within two hours. They did beautiful work and the gate closes and opens much easier now.

They showed up early, called first to check to see if I was home, were careful, fast but good, and showed me the overall project when done which was beautiful, I couldn't have asked for a better job for the money. Everyone else wouldn't even return my calls. They cleaned up after themselves and put the gate in better shape than it was when I bought the house two years ago.

I LIKE THEM BECAUSE THEY WORKED FAST. ALSO THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME THAT MUCH MONEY. I LIKED THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL TO ME. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS.
