Our LG washing machine was not draining properly. It progressively got worse, slower and slower. We where not sure what the problem was, some research was done and we narrowed it to the pump. We spoke with David, he clearly knows his stuff. We felt very comfortable in scheduling an appointment. Arriving on time David was clean, polite and explained why the pump required replacement. The repair was done. Machine was tested, a cleaning was performed. We could not be more pleased with our choice. The way to go is to hire is the guru.

It was really successful.  I've had my washer and dryer fixed over the years by a company I was never happy with--they always overcharged and were never helpful with information about the machines. So I decided I needed someone more responsible and knowledgable that I felt I could trust. That's why I decided to sign up for Angie's List--to find that someone. Paul's came up #1 and completely lived up to the reviews. I was SO relieved because it was a gamble. Now I feel more confident about finding other services on Angie's List. David from Paul's was extremely helpful, reliable, informative, and professional. It could not have gone better.

David is the consummate professional and a genuine nice guy.  David helped me troubleshoot the unit over the phone and offered great advice on where I could save money on the repair.  Scheduling was a breeze.  David came over, we chatted a bit and he knocked out the repair in no time at all.  David's pricing was more than fair for his level of service and expertise.  I would highly recommend Paul's to anyone looking for experienced, prompt and professional washer and dryer repair.

David's voicemail suggested to text him for faster service. He responded within 10 minutes of my text. I explained the problem and he gave me an idea of the possible problem and cost. I agreed and he met me there within an hour. He went right to the problem, replaced some electrical parts, cleaned the lint inside machine and vent. He increased the coin slot amount. The job turned out to be less than his estimate. He gave me some maintenance tips and was very professional. Great Service! Very honest and efficient!

Really good and friendly service.
Diagnosed the dryer issue over the phone - explained how it all worked and showed me what was wrong. We had an issue with the washer and he took a look at that and fixed a failing pump too.
Highly recommended.

Dave called me the same Tuesday morning after I texted their number.  He was acquainted with my washer type and seemed to be an expert in washers and dryers in general. He was able to give me some possible scenarios as to why the washer stopped spinning. We texted back and forth that evening and he agreed to come out the next day per my wishes. He gave me a general time of between 1 and 2 Wednesday afternoon, but I got a text later that he was running behind and could not make it until 4 pm. He asked me if he had mentioned that even if he could not fix it right then and there the service call would be $75.00. He had not, but I do not think this was a "gotcha" as the service had not yet been provided and  I truly believe he forgot.  He arrived @ 4 pm and was able to quickly diagnose that I had a faulty door lock. It just so happened that he had a new one on his truck that fit my machine. He swapped it out, and stayed and ran through a few cycles to ensure that they were running properly. He left the faulty lock mechanism with me.  He asked me to run a couple of full loads in order to insure that it was truly fixed to my satisfaction.
Elapsed time from arrival to departure - probably 1.5 hours.
Dave was personable, conversant and did not waste any time. I would highly recommend him again.   Before I  connected with Paul's W &D repair, I had reached out to a different provider that could not accommodate me as quickly.  Dave happened to be friends with this provider (someone else on this site) and offered to call him to say that he had taken care my appointment. I appreciated that, and I confirmed that this did, in fact, occur.

I placed a phone call and left a voice mail message. The greeting informed me that someone would call me back within 2 hours. True to their word, I received a call within the hour. I described the water drainage problem we were having with our machine. The gentleman asked a few questions to hone in on the problem then scheduled our appointment for the same day later in the afternoon.
David came and worked on the repair. He was very knowledgeable and conveyed to us the problem we were having. During the job, he recognized that we were also experiencing a sewage backup and recommended that we contact a plumber to snake the line. He was kind enough to repair the pump and disinfect and clean the drum which had been tainted from the drain backup. I was very pleased with David's workmanship and professionalism.

The technician came out, called me when he was on his way, arrived on time, made the repair and left no mess. He was very polite and efficient. The geriatric washing machine has been working perfectly for two months. I would definitely call this company again.

As an out-of-town landlord, I was a bit nervous about hiring someone over the phone to do a major appliance repair. Turns out, there was no need to worry. I had a gas dryer that wasn't heating, I contacted Paul's and they told me what the problem most likely was and exactly how much it would cost even before going out to the house. They were extremely pleasant to deal with, contacted my tenant straight away and scheduled appointment the next day.

They performed the exact repair they quoted me and my tenant relayed that they were very courteous and prompt. Have to say I was more than a little shocked that they actually did the work and didn't call me for billing info until 4 days later! I was a brand new customer, had never spoken with them before, and yet they performed a great service and then 4 days later called me for billing info. I didn't know there were people still out there who worked this way. Very refreshing!

Can't recommend them highly enough.
