Octavio's Tree Service

The Owner is very professional and friendly. He goes out of the way to make sure everything is going well and the customer is satisfied. Both times this company removed trees for me, the workers were very efficient and professional. They worked quickly and cleaned up all debris. They also blew off the dust and spread out the sawdust from the trunk grinding. I trust them to do a great job at a good price. I was very satisfied with the first tree two years ago, but forgot to write a review. The second service provided was just as great as the first.

Octavio was very responsive and helpful. He did everything he told me he would do. He was prompt in returning my calls and showed up on time. His workers did a good job in trimming the trees and in the clean up. Unfortunately my neighbor's tangerine tree was damaged when a branch fell on it. Octavio apologized and my neighbor will be compensated.

After calling the phone number, Octavio was able to come by my house the next day and gave me a very competitive free estimate.  I contacted another highly rated provider to get a second bid and we decided to go with Octavio's Tree Service.  I scheduled the service a few days later and 3 workers worked for about 6 hours at my house (includes a 1 hour lunch break) and Octavio would supervise the 3 workers.  When it was finished the large tree was much smaller and the ground was clear from the old tree branches and weeds and we are very satisfied with the work that was done.

He and his guys trimmed 2 fig trees, a magnolia tree and 2 giant Chinese elms that were looming over out house.  Everyone in the neighborhood has been complimenting us as he did not sacrifice the shape of the trees. 
We got several quotes and his was by far the cheapest, and we paid a lot more last year and he did a MUCh better job.  HIGHLY recommend and we will be using him in the future.

Octavio and his crew did a great job clearing a large hedge row, a mature elm tree, and two smaller cyprus trees from my front yard. His crew did their work quickly and cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. Octavio also charged a very reasonable price for the work his crew completed.  
All in all, I would definitely hire Octavio again should I need vegetation cleared again and I would highly recommend him to others on Angie's List.

Overall it went well. They arrived early 8:15am for an 8:30am appointment.  They had all the tools and big truck/wood chipper (?) During the estimate they didn't mention that they would need access to my neighbor's yard -- that would have been good to know. They listened to what I wanted them to do. I am very emotional when it comes to my trees. If it was up to me, I would never have them trimmed. I didn't want the trees too short or to look unnatural. They did a good job at keeping the trees looking good- and getting them off my neighbor's side.

We used Octavio previously and were very happy. In terms of quality of service, fair price, and the way the trimming including cleaning up was done. After calling fro an estimate, Octavio showed up at the agreed time and we went to both properties. Discussed the scope of work and agreed on a price. At the agreed times, his crew of three showed up with all of the professional equipment and performed the trimming, cutting, taking out and pruning of the trees. They cleaned up perfectly. I asked then to protect my breath way from tree branches to scrape and leave marks on the walls. It was done without asking for more money or for not understanding. I am very happy.

From my initial phone call on Monday it was about an hour before Eric arrived at our door . He clearly understood what we wanted and quoted a low price . We scheduled the work for 8 am on Wednesday and everyone showed up on the dot .He had estimated two hours for the work it took one and a half hours . I was so impressed I said that I would pay an extra fifty dollars so $300.00
Our garden is cramped and there were lots of pots and a small teak table , sadly a branch hit the table and flattened it but they were suitably mortified and I didn't care too much.
The only thing I mentioned to Eric was that the falling branches came close to the windows , they protect windows with plywood when using the stump cutter. It might be a good idea to do so during cutting if the tree is close to the house.
It was a pain free experience and I shall recommend them to others.

The last service that trimmed the Magnolia charged $800.00 , did an excellent job but took all day to do it and one crew member brought his two young children.

Octavio's tree service showed up on time and completed the services I contracted the company to perform and a little more. They were careful protecting my plants and cleaned up after the trimming was completed which included my neighbors yard. In fact my neighbor thank me later for how well they cleaned up afterwards. I will use them again.

Octavio returned my initial call for an estimate very quickly and came the next day to see the job. His price was lower than other estimates I received. We scheduled the job and I requested an afternoon appointment. He and his crew arrived punctually within an hour of the estimated time in the afternoon when they were coming from another job. They removed the tree very efficiently and did a thorough clean up. I was very satisfied with every aspect of their work and would hire them again most definitely.

Octavio came out and did an estimate and came back with his crew and did the job the next day. He answered all our questions, they did a great job and cleaned up everything. This was one of the easiest and most positive home improvement experiences we've ever had and at a fair price. I'd recommend them to anyone and hire them again in a second!

Octavio has worked for me over the past few years.  His service is impeccable.  (aggravation free!!)  He is very service oriented and his team is like one happy family.  They work together well, seem happy with their job and do very nice work. His prices are reasonable. Octavio is there while the work is being done to over see the job.  I wish I could find more good help like him!

They came out and gave an estimate. They trimmed everything for a very reasonable price. They were on time and did what they were supposed to do.

He was responsive clean and thorough.  His pricing was very competitive and he is fully licensed and insured.
