NOE CRUZ

Once again, Noe came through with flying colors for us. He made sure that I understood all the steps in the building process, and he informed me of any changes necessary to the plan as he encountered problems. For instance, he found that our patio was uneven and so his wood-working had to compensate for this. Even though no one could see that the slatted wood at the top of the pergola wasn't always evenly spaced (as he had to compensate for the uneven patio beneath), it bothered Noe that he knew! His professionalism is very impressive. I will use him for all of my carpentry needs.

As is the case with every job we've contracted for with Noe, he and his crew were punctual, efficient, courteous, and meticulous. They haul away their debris and leave the property in tip-top shape. Noe will go the extra mile to ensure that his customers are happy with the service he provides.

They were very professional and considerate of our property at all times. They always cleaned up their mess at the end of the day. They were meticulous in their work and it really shows.

Noe is an excellent carpenter and a wonderful businessman. He was quick and prompt not only in getting back to every phone call but in getting the job done. I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work and the professional manor in which he handled every aspect. On top of all this he is a VERY nice guy!

He was very helpful. He did a professional job. The work was of really good craftsmanship. He was efficient, this didn't take very long. He had two people helping him and they left the site very clean. In terms of price everything worked out.

Noe replaced our old, solid-core back door with a new, 4-lite wood (fir) door. He also renovated with great care our mahogany front door, providing new pieces of solid African mahogany to supplement or replace rotted bits of the door; provided and installed new door casing, exterior curved molding, replicated an existing interior bit of door molding to replace some (badly installed) molding installed by a previous owner; installed silicone weather stripping and used really first rate materials for the entire job at a relatively reasonable cost. He and his associate were punctual, meticulous, reliable and trustworthy. A pleasure to deal with. Noe also recommended a painter and stainer who we've subsequently used, who is also really great!

Overall it was good. Returned calls in a timely manner and was on time to perform work as stated. Noe had two workers including himself. Very pleasant and nice. Total of two days to complete work as quoted. Both windows and door framing came out very good. But when replacing the security screens on both the front and back doors, it looks like he did not take the time to align the screens to the stucco and left about a 1/2" gap between the security screen and stucco (house). Returning the next day, I mention this gap to Noe and was told that it was an alignment problem and he filled the gap with caulking. I should have said more (my fault). If I was there when he was replacing the security screens, it probably would not have happen.

Mr. Cruz arrived on time for the first meeting as well as the day of installation. He is easy going and accommodating in all respects. Although not discussed in advance, I asked him to remove and change the trim around the door frame and to add a piece of trim to the door itself. He came back the next morning, as promised, with the new material and installed it without an extra labor charge. He was good natured and pleasant from start to finish.

I called him and he called back promptly and arranged to come look at the job. Others I had called wanted a lot of money just to come out. He was very courteous and seemed knowledgeable about these kinds of doors. He took the door away and took measurements on the drawers. It took him a few days longer than he had promised to bring the work back and install it, but when he did come he did a very good job putting my kitchen back together. We were very satisfied with the work.

Wonderful!! We are so pleased! We started this project in April 2006 B.B.A. (Before Belonging to Angie's list) and went to a home supply store. Months and months later, and not one, but two doors and frames, which were both wrong in their own way, we threw in the towel with that store. By then we were members of Angie's List (we love Angie's List) and found Noe in December 2006. What a difference from that other place, it is now January 18th a month after Noe came for the quote and the job is complete! Noe is professional and meticulous and goes the extra distance. He cleans up the site and asked me if we wanted him to cut up the old door and frame (which were not usable as they were rotted and weathered). This allows us to place it conveniently in the trash. We cannot sing Noe's praises loud enough he is a superb craftsman. I will send a digital photo once the door is stained (Noe is a finish carpenter and doesn't do painting/staining but he gave us great suggestions for staining.)

Work was completed in a very professional manner. Mr. Cruz was very personable and answered all my questions. The work was completed in less time than his estimate and they cleaned up completely as they finished. They even washed my filthy door mats!

We hired Mr. Cruz based on a review we read on Angie's List. We too found him to be very responsive in returning our initial call to him and any subsequent calls thereafter. He came out within a day or two to give us an estimate and also gave us a solid start date and entered it on his calendar. He asked for no deposit up front and arrived for the job on the date we mutually arranged 10 minutes early. He didn't leave the job that day till he knew we were completely satisfied with the end result. He also took great care to make sure the area in which he was working had plastic sheeting to protect hardwood floors and furniture, etc. He and his workers were consummate professionals! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Noe was very responsive to my initial telephone call and quickly arranged to provide an estimate. When traffic prevented his arrival, he called and immediately re-scheduled the estimate for the next day at my convenience. His estimate was thorough and he explained his procedures very well. He and his helper performed the work within the week and they were on time. Throughout their work they were very careful about preventing dirt or sawdust from entering our home. They performed their work efficiently and thoroughly, paying attention to all details. My wife and I are very satisfied with their work which was, we believe, reasonably priced. We hope to use him in the future to add a closet door and shelving and to replace some windows.

EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT. RETURNS CALLS PROMPTLY, WAS ABLE TO DO WORK WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO. ARRIVED ON TIME, PROTECTED SURFACES AROUND THE WORK AREA, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND CLEANED UP WELL. RAN INTO SOME REAL PROBLEMS AND STAYED LATE TO GET THE JOB COMPLETED PROPERLY.
