General Remodeling
M.P. Construction charged us $130,000, started the demolition and began the framing, then stopped working. They asked for more money. Since they'd only performed a fraction of the work they had been paid for, we did not agree to give them more money. They walked off the job and attached a lien to our home. We lost about $100,000 to this company, and found our options for recovering our money were very limited. We would have had to spend tens of thousands of dollars and years to sue the company, with no guarantee of recovering anything. We were forced to accept the loss and nearly lost our home in the process.
