Fantastic. They upgraded us for free because the carpet we originally ordered was not in stock. They were quick, clean, and efficient. They didn't try to oversell us on more expensive carpet. When I explained to the owner I had a rental property, he even let me know about a carpet that saved me a little bit of money. He gave a lot of options and did not try to make me purchase any one brand.

The entire process of buying carpet took less than 30 minutes. David was very helpful and we were able to get the right product at the right price. The whole thing was installed within a week - even with my changes! I would highly recommend them. David is very efficient and knowledgeable. I would return in the future!

We bought our first home this October and needed new carpet and hardwood installed. I checked out three other places and midtown stood above them all in customer service and price! It's a family owned business and David and his daughter really go that extra mile to help you find the right carpet and wood for you. No matter how many time we went to their store they always took the time to help answer your questions. The carpet installation and wood installation by Edmund went very well. We were very glad we went with midtown. They definitely make you feel like your family:). 100% recommend this place for all your upgrade needs!!

I am very happy with my floors -- they are beautiful -- but even happier with the quality of service I was treated to by Davis, the owner of Midtown Carpet. David came to our house to measure the floors several times and to give us extensive advice about what needed to be done to windows, subfloors, sliding doors etc. so that the floors would not be destroyed by moisture, pests etc. he also recommended against using wood in some heavily-trafficked areas even though he knew we would not buy flooring from him for that area.. He patiently stored our flooring while the work was done and then arranged for installation by an amazing team of installers who were in and out in two days. David has always answered every question thoroughly. He and his installer team was always precisely on time. Midtown Carpet is a real gem. I can not recommend it highly enough.

Last year we bought a townhouse as a second home that clearly needed updating. We decided to put in wooden floors to replace the carpet in the downstairs and loft as well as the tile in the kitchen. Eventually we decided to replace the carpet in one bedroom and one staircase as well. Quite a lot of flooring all in all. The family, it turned out, wanted wood flooring. But what type of wood and from where? I was flummoxed, having had no experience with wood floors. After doing a bit of research online, visiting some very fancy flooring stories as well as Home Depot and Ikea, I still had no idea how to move forward. Out driving one day along Eagle Boulevard, I noticed Midtown Carpet out of the corner of one eye and I thought I would stop in to see if they might have remnant that would do for the small bedroom we were planning on renting out. I stopped, went into the store and met David, the owner. And I knew I had found the where for my flooring needs, because I had found the "who", the person whom I trusted to sell and install a fine product and a fair price.

How does it come about that you meet someone and trust them immediately? in purchasing an item like flooring, it comes about by being given the time and space you need to look around initially and then, when you are ready to interact, noticing that the salesperson is really listening to you as you explain your needs and then answers, really answers, the precise questions you are asking instead of giving a generic patter. Important, too, is that the information provided matches what you have learned but given you enough new data that you feel better equipped to make a decision. It was a hot hot day last summer when I first came into Midtown Carpet and David helped me understand the pros and cons of the various types of wood flooring. Eventually, i decided on the real hardwood, the most expensive option, but not because David was nudging me that way but because I knew my family would prefer the look of the "real deal". I think David was surprised but arranged to come out and measure bringing some heavy samples with him so I could see the wood in the situ. I had decided upon a tile entry way from the front door and he insisted that we put in tile in the hallway from the garage as well -- even though that would reduce the cost of the job for him. He also advised against wood in the kitchen (for all the obvious reasons!) which would have also meant less money for him. Finally, he drew my attention to some serious problems around the sliding glass doors and floor length windows in the living room which, he explained, absolutely would have to be fixed before the wood could be installed. Left unattended

Once I had made my decision, it was time to consult the family. Husband and son were both staying out of town and we made several trips to Midtown Carpet dragging samples in and out and having David come out a second time with new choices to see how they looked in the house and once we had made our decision and put down the deposit we learned that the,problem we had seen with water leakage was a great deal more serious than we thought and installation needed to be delayed until we could have the work done. Unfortunately, this dragged on and David was so helpful and patient.

Eventually the day came and the real hardwood floor was installed -- perfectly. The installer, Edwin, arrived absolutely on time, worked with his crew efficiently,paying attention to every board and every nail. The floor is simply beautiful and the entire experience established a new metric to measure customer service by: for me, "a Midtown Carpet" = 5 stars.

Got an initial estimate from David who is the owner of the company.
He gave helpful recommendations and then sent his foreman once we had agreed on a price.
The price he offered was very reasonable and came in a little lower than a few other companies' bids.
We had a problem with a sloped floor in a second story bedroom that we were concerned with, but the workers did a decent job of leveling it with plywood and making it less conspicuous.
The foreman also came back on the same day I contacted them when we found an uneven spot on the staircase landing - fast service! This was after the work had already been completed.
The whole process took less than a week, which was also faster than I had expected compared to other places' estimated work times.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of work for the price paid!
I would highly recommend them to friends and family.
