MAUREEN MAHON INTERIORS

We called Maureen when we began remodeling two bedrooms and one bathroom for a potential tenant (and touching up our dining room). Maureen's sharp eye, aesthetic instincts and wonderfully upbeat and reassuring nature (complete with a robust sense of humor) played a huge role in lowering the stress level during our remodel. She also found us several bargains on fixtures and referred us to high-quality but inexpensive carpeting and flooring materials that aided our budget considerably. She also brought in an excellent vendor to handle our window treatments. In addition to helping us meet the major challenges of the remodel, Maureen also cheerfully offered sage advice on everything from dining-room paint to the upholstery on our new couch. She really gets what her clients are about and is dogged about making things work. At one point we chose a paint color without consulting her and once the room was painted knew it was all wrong -- she took one look, agreed and quickly helped us find the right color. After that, we didn't make a move without asking her. We found her fees to be very reasonable and always got a little more from her than we expected. We can't imagine working with anyone else on our next remodeling project.
