Doug Freeze is a very special person. He loves what he does. He loves it so much that he is willing to accept whatever people give him to tune their pianos. He came to our home on November 9, 2013. He has a fantastic website that explains everything in detail as well as a calendar where you can set your own appointment. He has one of the finest websites I have seen. He is very punctual and friendly and is an expert at tuning pianos. He is a highly knowledgeable man. He drives all the way from Los Angeles to areas far from his home. Doug should re think his policy of accepting whatever people want to pay him. We gave him $150.00. I couldn't have slept that night if we gave him any less. To have a master come into your home and spend a couple of hours fine tuning every string on that piano is a very specialized art. To boot, he even helped us figure out our Harvard upright piano was built in 1919. That is the first time we have been able to find out that information. He brought out his special piano book and there it was!! We would highly recommend Doug to anyone who wants their piano tuned the way it should be. Thank you Doug!
