The leak occurred during a series of heavy storms and I was grateful that Mar Vista Roofing was willing and able to send someone out in such a timely manner. They sealed the leak for the minimum charge and it has held firm through several storms since then.

Exactly as stated. They obtained the permit and informed me that the job would take three days. Monday rip off the roof and assess the wood damage, Tuesday repair wood damage and get inspection, and Wednesday install new roof. They were punctual and cleaned up everyday when they were finished. I got their business name from a friend of mine that I trust. His advice was good. They provided a good product, were punctual and were fair. I would recommend! I had enjoyable conversations with Patrick the owner who has been in this business for over 40 years.

The roofing was OK, but when it came to replacing the parapets (the outside perimeter of the roof on a Spanish style house, the part wit the rounded Mexican tiles), they were going to short cut it by not using cement between each tile as is done on every Spanish style home. I called the principal and owner on this issue and he accused me of "Calling him a liar." He became beligerent and very difficult. I had to insists and insists again and keep him from intimidating me.

It was an excellent job. They were very very professional. I felt it was a reasonable price for the quality of work. They were very efficient with their clean-up. Overall, they were an outstanding company.
