MAINSTAY CONSTRUCTION

We were so happy with the exterior tile on the porch that we hired him to do our kitchen floor. It turned out there were three layers of old flooring (the old owners just built right on top of the older ones) that had to be torn out, leaving the floor Much too low. He raised the floor and tiled it. Added the new appliances and even hooked up our refrigerator on the porch so we had use of it while the work was being done. Everything went so well we later hired them to redo our bathroom. In two weeks it went from an out dated and poorly laid out room to a modern, warm (he he, heated floors) and comfortable place to be. We had originally hired another contractor for the initial work. He showed up to "get started", got the down payment and we didn't hear from him again for 11 days. Mainstay showed up when they said they would and worked straight through until the job was done.

The work went very well. Paul was referred to me by the electrician that did the re-wire (Paddy Electric). He was very prompt (usually a little early in fact). The quality of the work is excellent. After starting work, I decided to have them replace the windows as well. This increased the length of the job as we had to wait a bit for the windows to be shipped, but Paul kept the space tidy in the interim. The finished product looks great. Paul and TJ were very pleasant to have around. I am happy with the work and look forward to working with Mainstay Construction again.
