My 73 International Scout's power brake unit had been repeatedly rebuilt or replaced over the years by other shops. Then, over time, the unit would fail. MT figured out that the car had the wrong unit and replaced it. Problem solved. My restored 56 Pontiac has always had a hitch in the acceleration at low speed. MT rebuilt the carb, which others had also done. Problem solved
Description of Work: Over the last 5 years Magic Touch has maintained and solved problems on my 1956 Pontiac and 1973 Scout that others could not get right: rebuilt carb, reworked brake systems, rebuilt steering, electrical issues, etc.

+ -1 moreThese guys are great, finally I found someone that I can bring my cars to and not worry to get ripped off. My old Jeep Garnd Wagoner was on its last leg and I nearly did not make it home. John, the boss took care of me. They completely rebuild the engine, transmission, AC, brakes. THE WORKS" My old horse is galloping again. Its like new. I hope I have no more car trouble, but if I do I know where to go.

Description of Work: My 1956 Pontiac started idling dangerously fast. They worked on it immediately and fixed it. Problem was not obvious. They filed down a fitting on the carburetor linkage and cleaned it. It drives perfectly now. Previously they worked on this car and another vintage car I own and were able to fix problems that other mechanics couldn't get right. For example. they fixed a continuing brake problem on a 1973 International Scout by getting rid of the wrong power brake booster that had been previously installed by an International dealer. They stand behind their work and gladly make adjustments where needed. They are worth every dollar they charge.
