I had the pleasure of working with Curt and his Lotus Builders team recently. I can be very particular, but I couldn't be more pleased with both the quality of work and how easy it was to work with Curt and his team. Curt and everyone on his team, especially Cort, Salvador, and JC, were extremely knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, courteous, and simply did excellent work. I hope to work with Curt again and I highly recommend the Lotus Builders team for anyone looking for a general contractor or residential remodel.

We had a small fire at our house in the Hollywood Hills.  Result was, a gaping hole in the roof.  Because of the age of the house and the extensive work that we would need to do to fix the roof in the first place, we decided to replace the roof instead of just making an area repair.  (The roof was also older style, with pebbles / rocks on top and apparently they don't do this type of roof anymore.) We spoke to a several contractors.  A few felt quite slippery, doing really hard sells as if we were on a car lot.  We chose Curt and Lotus because he had a no nonsense, forthright and professional approach. The work that was done was extensive.  The entire old roof was literally taken off the house and we were down to 1200 square feet of open rafters.  There was extensive hauling away of debris.  Extensive delivery of material to install a new roof (we are talking not just shingles/roofing material... but new wood and everything, plus rewiring through the now-open attic etc). Very limited time frame to do it in since we're living in the house.  And all of this had to be navigated on the twisty lanes of the Hollywood Hills.   Construction is never pleasant but this went off very smoothly, completely according to plan and most importantly according to budget.  We also had no issues with the building inspector who had to sign off during and after the process. This is a tight and professional crew that does excellent work and makes the best of what can be a difficult and stressful experience.
