Lopez Appliances is great! Call on weekdays or weekends, someone speaking English always picks up. All 3 times they did same day service, twice coming over within the hour!!! Mr. Lopez is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. Clearly the younger guys with him are apprenticing and learning quickly. The dishwasher problem ended up being a clog that was leaving a little bit of water at the bottom of the dishwasher. After a clean-out, it was about $70. The Frigidaire stove/oven had a broken electronic control panel, which would have costed me $200 or maybe even $300 to fix (buying the part, having him install it, etc). I said I didn't want to deal with it and how much he would take it for. I got $150 cash on the spot and they carried it away in their truck. I didn't have to move it, list it on eBay or Criagslist, or otherwise worry about it anymore. Now I have more space in my garage! Lastly, the gas burners were low on my other stove/oven unit and the flame would go out. The problem turned out to be low pressure from the main house gas meter, after SoCal Gas had come out so many times to turn it on/off during my major renovation of the house. He used a screwdriver, adjusted a screw and we were back in business. $35 cash. Easy. Lopez Appliances typically charges $25 to come out to your place to check out the problem, but if you use them to fix the problem (labor) or order parts, they will include the $25 into the total price of the work.
