Frank has been out a number of times for different jobs we have had. He is terrific. Personable, professional, and reliable.

Frank came on time and was helpful, gracious and most important - honest! He spent extra hours because our 50-year old wiring was inefficient and complex - at no extra charge. I also asked him to bid on another electrical project and he said the work didn't need to be done! Great craftsmanship and a good guy - both are hard to find nowadays. I'm sticking with Lighthouse Electric.

This is our fifth time using Frank and I can say he is the single best referral we have got from Angies' List. Besides being an great electrician, Frank has really become part of our family. My kids always learn something new from him and he treats everyone with respect. Frank reminds me of the craftsman that I remember meeting when I was a kid in the Valley in the 1970's where it was more about doing a good job than making a fast buck. If you are looking for an electrician who cares, is committed to detail, and does the right thing, then Frank is your guy.

Frank is reliable, knowledgable, trustworthy and professional. He'll do what you ask him to or he'll tell you what should be done, which is usually how you should go.

Frank was able to come by on short notice to fix an electrical issue involving some non-functional outlets in a rental property. He was punctual, professional, and a really nice guy to deal with. It was a small job, but he seemed happy to be able to help, which made me happy, too. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and the price couldn't be beat. I would not hesitate to hire him again. Anybody know a good electrician? Finally, I do!

We have been using Frank for over 5 years and he has become the single best referral we have got from Angie's List. Over the years, he has installed lights, upgraded wiring, installed ceiling fans and replaced outlets. No job is too large or too small for Frank. I actually think Frank undercharges us for the time he spends at our house but he insists on doing the right thing and claims his bills are accurate. In addition to his expert electrical knowledge, he is an all-around nice guy who has taken time to explain electrical circuitry to my inquisitive children as well show them his truck that have every conceivable electric part known to man on it. Frank is a true gem.

Frank was great to work with. He was personable, extremely punctual, let me know what was happening every step of the way. Before he did the work, he went over all of the possible options and offered ways to save me money. The work was completed in a professional manner, and he cleaned up and put everything back in it's place even after I told him that I could take care of some of it! He even moved my trashcan out to the curb! His price was very competitive with the other quotes that I received. Just a great experience. Makes me have renewed confidence that there are good contractors out there.

Frank is just a consummate professional. He provides written bids, unlike a lot of contractors (though he bids by the job and doesn't break out materials, but has told me when I've asked.) He shows up on time, is polite and funny, doesn't go in any part of your house that he doesn't explicitly need to (or go indoors at all if he can walk around outside), and charges exactly what he's said he would. For most of this work, I hadn't yet moved in, and Frank was clear that I should have him in before other contractors so that any damage to the walls could be erased by subsequent trades. I stopped by a few times a day and found him simultaneously hard at work and getting along well with other contractors he'd never met. He's performed multiple, individual jobs since I moved in. He did have a radio on when no one was living here, but during the time I've been in my home office, has never brought one out. The guy's work is impeccable; incredibly neat and easy to follow, which I think is important when you're talking about wiring. I'd definitely use him again and in fact, am having him gradually upgrade and add other lighting as I can afford it.

Showed up a little early even. Nice. Promptly tracked down what the problem was with our electrical outage for part of the house. Very good communication. Frank was thorough and straight forward. Got all that fixed up, then installed a new outlet for our outdoor lighting. After a quick discussion, he got it all hooked up very fast.

We have an original doorbell from the 1920's. It has not worked for us, or for the previous owner of our house. I have had two electricians who were at my house previously look at it and both were unable to fix it. Frank gave me an estimate over the phone and we setup an appointment. He showed up on-time and was quickly able to do what nobody else could and fix the doorbell. He then helped with some additional items, including fixing a light that the same two electricians couldn't fix, and giving advice on a external lighting installation. He charged the originally quoted price, even though he did additional work. He did a great job and we will definitely use him again.

I was able to fix the problem myself. The electrician explained to me how he would fix it. He was very helpful in helping me. He was very courteous and professional in explaining things to me.

He was great. He was very efficient and timely. He was very honest about what needed to be done. The price was completely reasonable.

Frank was great at communicating; he always called back promptly, which is important to me. At our first meeting, he was very thorough in checking out what needed to be done and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need (Frank is very big at NOT upselling needlessly!). Frank's price quote was pretty much in line with what I'd been quoted by other independant contractors, as well as box chains (for installation of the ceiling fans) and even a bit lower than a couple of the electricians I found in the yellow pages. He seems like he's been doing this for a long time and is very knowledgeable about electrical work. One caveat though: Frank is experienced but not a lighting designer. If you have a very complicated lighting project you may want to get guidance from a professional. Frank is there to just do it the way you want it, not necessarily to advise on style, although his opinion on what looks good is definitely worth listening to in a simple job like mine. It took me quite some time (a couple of months) to be ready to move forward with the work, but Frank was able to show up with almost no notice and did a great job. I love the way the new lighting looks and couldn't be more pleased. Frank even called me back right away to help solve a small problem I had with one of the ceiling fans (which was not his fault, there was a product defect). I would definitely hire Frank again.

He was very punctual. He performed the job exactly as he said he would and we were very satisfied with the quality of the work. The fan looks and operates perfect. And, he's a friendly guy, to boot.

Exceptional service with high quality results. I am renting a house that needs some work- landlords live out of town, so for a reduced rent I am getting the work done. I called Frank at Lighthouse Electric- he returned my call promptly and we set up a time to meet. Called me before hand to confirm and was on time. He quickly determined the outlets were inoperable due to an open wire in a kitchen outlet. Got this fixed and operational. I also had a bad remote for the ceiling fan in my kids bedroom. Gave me a new remote and verified that it was working properly. He was friendly, courteous and will get a call from me again when electrical work is needed.

Frank arrived right on time. He went right to work and took care of all my electrical problems in a couple hours. I was considering upgrading my electrical panel, instead of "selling" me he explained why it really wasn't necessary. He is as courteous and honest as they come.
