. Lester Carpet was started back in 1954 by Larry Lester. Larry is now retired and his son, Neal, is running the business. Neal's two sons, Jason and Ryan are currently working at the store along with family friend David. With Neal's wife Esther handling the accounting for the store, it is truly the definition of a family business. For over 50 years, our family has been helping to beautify and warm the homes of our neighbors, as well as provide a fast resource for the television and film industry. With one of the largest stocks of carpet in Los Angeles, we have been able to provide fast, affordable service for residential and commercial jobs. Our stock consists of rolls that are discontinued products, specials, off goods, and seconds. We get them at discounted prices, and we are able to pass the discounts on to you. Can't find anything that works from our stock? No problem. We have a large showroom with a wide range of carpet styles at affordable pricing. Aside from carpet, we also work with hardwood, laminate, linoleum, VCT, and many other types of flooring. Come check out our inventory for deals, or the showroom (located on the 2nd floor of our building) for special order products. We work very hard to keep special order prices not just "competitive", but low. We keep our overhead as low as possible, and rely on our reputation for repeat business and referrals. This benefits our customers in two ways: -First, we have a very low advertising budget. We don't have to pass the cost of advertising into our prices. -Second, we have to make sure that every customer that we work with is going to call on us in the future, and trust us enough to refer us to their friends and family.
