JUST RIGHT PLUMBING & DRAIN CLEANING

I called Just-Right because they had supposedly put a liner in the 6-inch sewer line from the property line of my fourplex building to the street, way back in 2007. The liner came with a lifetime guarantee, so, when my sewer line backed up this past July, I called Just-Right. They responded quickly, came out on a Sunday, unplugged the line (at this point the backed-up sewage had already receded, so I'm taking the company's word that they unplugged a blockage) and ran a camera into the line. As far as the camera went, I did not see a blockage of any kind. I now suspect there was a "soft blockage" that was fixed by pushing it through, but the real problem was tree roots in the line all the way out in the middle of the street, and the camera did not go that far. The plumber from Just-Right tried to convince me that I had expensive problems elsewhere in the system that were somehow affecting the sewer line from the cleanout point to the street. He first wanted me to replace the drainpipe under the building for $7,000. The next day he discovered that I needed to have another section of the sewer line, prior to where the backup had occurred, replaced for $16,000 or $19,000, depending on how it was done. At this point I called in another, trusted plumber (Carlos Herrera) who assured me that the drainpipe and the prior section of the sewer line are not in urgent need of repair. He helped me get a video of the section of the sewer line where the problem was, and advised me about the tree roots. When I eventually got this repaired, by a plumber who had the right license to do it, that plumber discovered that years ago, what Just-Right did was to insert a four-inch pipe inside the six-inch pipe -- not a standard method, and one that left the junction with the city line vulnerable to the invasion by roots that eventually occurred. Looking back at the record, it seems to me that Just-Right consistently advised and performed work that wasn't strictly necessary or related to the original problem. At least some of the work they did do was subpar.

I called them to fix a sink that wouldn't drain. They showed me a drain pipe that was in bad shape. They said that I needed pipes repaired. Later they said that I needed my sewer line repaired as well. To this day I don't think that all this work was needed but I didn't know what else to do. I would not recommend this company.

It appears they did a good job.

This was for the water heaters.

They come when they say they are going to come. The work is done quickly and efficiently and I am always pleased with them. They do a great job!

This was a lousy experience! It was very disappointing because we had used them in the past and had good experiences, but this time it was bad. They sent one guy out to fix a leak that we had in our garage, but the task seemed to be too large. After many frustrating hours, they had to send someone else out to fix the problem! It was a very big ordeal for a smaller job. We have decided that we will not use them in the future.
