Description of Work: The #2 fan in my television went out. I called Johnny's TV Repair and asked them how much it would be to repair the TV. They gave me a price which included coming out to my house. The TV was repaired the next day. The service was exceptional. I definitely will use them again. They even showed me how to take out the lamp incase it goes out so I could replace it myself and save $$. Love Johnny's TV Repair!

Description of Work: I contacted Johnny to see if he could help us with a TV reception problem in two rooms. He got back to me quickly, talked to me on the phone, explained what my problem was, what I needed to do, and said it really wasn't worth it to me to pay him to come out if we could do this ourselves. I followed his advice, and sure enough, had working systems right away. He COULD have come out and charged me and I wouldn't have ever known that it was something we could fix. I think he is very honest and a very kind man. i DEFINITELY will call him when I have something I cannot handle myself.

I took my TV to them and they had it repaired and delivered to me in three days, and the cost was so low I couldn't believe it. Thank you Johnny's TV Repair for everything. Description of Work: The 60 inch panasonic lcd tv would not turn on. The repairman determined that there was a ballast problem and took the part back to the shop to repair it. He had to find the individual componets to repair the ballast as the repair kit was not available until june. He was able to repair the ballast and the tv works.

Description of Work: Our tv had broken 2 weeks ago w/ no picture & virtually no sound. I called Johnnie's once I found them to be the closest to our home & they were at our house within a few minutes..on a Sunday! Not only was one of the small tubes burned out, but a color tube had also blown and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately once ordered, it took about a week nearly two before they were able to get the color tube.

Description of Work: Our fairly new 57" Toshiba LCD began having problems shortly after the original 1 year warranty expired. The right side of the screen was scrambled when we turned on the TV. Toshiba provided NO help or information. Initially the problem cleared up in 5 to 10 minutes, but now it was taking 40 minutes before we had a clear picture. The TV originally cost $5400 (listed at $7000), so we were reluctant to replace it. We got Johnny's TV Repair information from Angie's list. They were extremely knowledgable over the phone, and he and his son came out to our house that evening. They were familiar with the problem, and tried to fix it at our house. They were very careful with the TV, and our wall mount. They could not fix it in our home, but thought if they took it into the shop, there was a 70% chance they could fix it. (If it were under the original warranty, we could have gotten a new screen. But now the manufacturer wanted more than the original TV cost for the part.) They took the TV on Monday evening, and had it fixed by Tuesday evening. They had to fix and reinforce some loose wires, just as they anticipated. The father even showed us a picture of the problem on his phone camera when they brought the TV back. They were extremely careful, and remounted the TV on the wall perfectly. We also learned a lot about new TVs on the market from them. The TV now works perfectly, and we are extremely happy.

Description of Work: The service man from Johnny's TV Repair replaced a component in the TV so the TV would power on. He took the TV Cabinet apart on site (instead of trying to move our huge TV out to their shop, as others had suggested). The TV has been working great since then.
