great on time services - they had two men to take down the TV from the wall so there was not wasted time. They took the set to the shop and returned it within 1 day. On time and in estimate. And on a Saturday!

Called with a specific problem with a Panasonic DLP TV. They listen to my issue and suggested something I could try myself. That worked. I appreciated their willingness to help a caller without scheduling a service appointment. Nice.

I was sitting on the couchon Friday, when suddenly my tv went off. I tried everything I knew to get it back on including rebooting the cable box and disconnecting everything,etc. but nothing worked. First I called Best Buy, where I bought the tv and all the other components, and they told me it would be $150 just for them to show up and the soonest they could get there would be Tuesday. I immediately went to Angie's List and found Johnny's TV Repair. I called them about 4 pm and we set up an appointment for 11 the next morning which was a Saturday. At 6:30 the same night he called me back and said he could come that night if it was ok with me, and it was. He and his son showed up at 7:45pm and by then the problem had gotten worse as the main cable in to the house was receiving no power. They helped me find the power problem, got the cable back on, found the problem with the tv (which was a loose connection), and only charged me the $59. These are honest, qualified service people and I would definitely use them again. As recommend them to anyone who has a tv problem.

The man was lovely. He told me the fuse blew & the part is hard to get now. He got the part & didn't charge me until he received it & completed the repair. I didn't get charged for the initial visit at all. He tried to fix it at that time but it didn't work with the other part. He was very knowledgeable & knew what he was talking about.

Overall, it all went without a hitch and I can watch the golf again today!

He couldn't get it done the first time, but offered us a loaner until he could come back to complete the job. We used the loaner for a week and after two visits we decided to replace the TV. After coming out twice and giving us the loaner TV he told us there was no charge! I can't recommend them enough. They are great!

They were excellent and saved me a lot of money. Rather than me go out and buy a unit, which turned out that I did not need, he looked at it and choose what was needed and told me that I was better off saving the mother board on the TV rather than replacing it because he said that the board on my TV is better than the replacement. So he soldered something on there and turned on the TV and I could not believe it. It was better than before it broke down. I was overjoyed. I was very happy, excellent service.

I looked them up on Angie’s List and they had couple of good reviews and that was the reason I chose them. They came out within five hours like I called them at 10am and they were here at 3pm. Very nice superior people came out. They figured out what the problem was and they told me what they have to do. I told them to take the TV with them because they seemed that nice and it was Christmas Eve. Then they said that if they could fix it in their office then they would bring it back that night and I told them that I wouldn’t be home that night. So they said that they bring it back on Christmas Day and I said that if they wished then it was fine with me. They said that they loved to and they would fix it and would call me. Christmas Day they said that they would come by 10 and I said that I would be here by 11. So they were here exactly at 11 and put my TV back on the wall. Now it’s working perfectly. These guys were unbelievable. They were extremely nice.

They were absolutely terrific. They were absolutely honest. They were great. It impressed me that they were able to fix the other TV. Everything with them was excellent and I found nothing wrong at all. I would absolutely use them again.

i called Johnny's midday on Saturday. After telling them what the problem was, they immediately suggested that it could be one of two problems and included an estimated cost for both so I could decide what I wanted to do. I made an appointment (the next day - a Sunday!) and they gave me an arrival window of an hour. The technician arrived during that window and was very professional and courteous. He fixed the tv and showed me exactly what had been wrong with it too. He provided his opinion on the quality of our tv. I will certainly use them again if we run into any problems.

When I called Johnny they gave me a fair cost estimate and arranged pick up of the TV. They showed up on time and repaired the problem in 24 hours. Unfortunately shortly after they had delivered the TV the problem resurfaced. I contacted them again and they promptly picked the TV up. After a couple of days of testing they offered to loan us a TV while they conducted their testing in order to be 100% sure the TV would not display the problem again. They delivered a loaner and about a week later the replaced it with our TV. All the additional pick ups and re-testing/repair were all covered by their 10 day warranty and we did not incur any extra cost. Ever since the TV has been working well.

I have a 50 inch plasma Dell TV that is mounted on wall. The picture went out on screen, but still had sound. Called Johnny's TV because of all the high ratings they received. I was not disappointed. I made an appointment for them to come out to my house the following day. They arrived on time and made quick work of getting that heavy TV off the wall mount. They gave me three possible scenarios that could be wrong with TV and three estimated prices. They took the TV back to their shop and returned it the next day all fixed up! They remounted the TV and hooked up all my crazy cables to the back and then tested it to make sure everything was smooth running. The price was fair and exactly what they estimated it to be for repair. Overall, they do great work and I will definitely be calling them again should I ever need more service.

I have a 52 inch, three year old Sony LCD TV which developed vertical black stripes across the entire screen. Sony customer service was a ninety minute ordeal after which they referred me to their authorized repair services. They were frustrating and expensive-$125.00 for a service call. I called Johnny's and talked to a live person who understood the problem and who arrived at the appointed time to pick up the TV in order to diagnose the problem in their shop. They called the next day as promised with a solution for the problem and how they intended to keep the price reasonable. They returned the TV yesterday and it works like "new". The charge including pickup, delivery and replacement of the LCD controller board was $400.00 Their usual pick up fee was rolled into the repair bill.

The 19" HDTV in our kitchen was not working. It began with the picture, making loud noises and turning off and on. We took the TV over to Johnny's TV Repair and they fixed it within one hour. It's working great! Thank you!

Our Samsung TV started acting up. It would intermittently not start up and then keep trying to kick on. Sometimes it would kick on for a minute and then kick off. It was clearly a power supply issue. Finally, it just would not kick on at all. So I researched it and learned that it was broken solder connection on the mother board that talented folks repaired themselves but I was not brave enough. I also learned that most TV repair dudes just suggest a complete mother board replacement which is about $500 including labor which raises the question of repair or replace. I researched repairman on Angie's List for similar TV repairs, read the members reviews on issues fixed, quality, price etc. and then found a father / son company who do just TVs with impeccable reviews. Called them, told them my problem – they finished my sentences on what we were experiencing and told me they know exactly what the issue is and fix them every day. The whole experience was textbook excellence. They answered my call live on the first try, articulated the common problem, told me they can fix it. They gave me a price of $200 and a time for the next day. They showed up on time, fixed the problem and gave me an Angie's List discount of $15 - so I paid $185 and I was a happy guy with a working TV. I'd call Johnnies TV again in a heartbeat.

They were prompt and diagnosed the problem and it was accurate. They ordered the part and it took a few days for the part to come. I was very satisfied.

Excellent. Couldn't be happier. For $59 they picked up & brought back the following day this very heavy TV set. For $109 they re-soldered many connections on the PC board. Set now works fine. Way cheaper than buying a brand-new set.

Repairmen showed up on time, did the work at my home- they were courteous and professional.

Terrific. The first technician wanted $1,000.00 for the job and claimed that Samsung no longer carried the necessary parts to fix the set. Johnny & his son knew exactly what needed to be done and arrived with the tools and parts to do the job properly - at a cost of $169.00. They are very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They are at the top of my list should I ever need this service again.

Johnny's did an outstanding job. I suddenly lost the picture on my 4 year old Sony flat screen. At first, I didn't know if I should try to repair it or replace it. I contacted Johnny after looking at Angie's List. I received a reasonable explanation for what the problem was and an estimate that eventually was right on to what I eventually paid. My wife was skeptical about even trying to fix the tv but after a week she agreed to go with Johnny. I called back and he was very gracious. Fathe and son came out the same day, picked up the tv, called me within 3 hours and said it was fixed, gave me the price, delivered the tv and now all is well. These guys are honest and reliable and deserve your business!

I came home from a trip an couldn't get my TV to turn on. I called them and over the phone they explained that my tv brand has a vaction setting that comes on automatically. They described where the switch was, I flipped it, and the TV came on. Hooray!
