JOHN WHITE SEWER LINE VIDEO INSPECTIONS

The team from John White Sewer Line Video Inspections was prompt and thorough. They were very helpful, answering all questions and giving thorough explanations. The video they provided was also helpful in understanding the current state of the sewer line for a house we were considering purchasing. I would definitely use them for a future home inspection.

Dave came exactly on time to inspect the sewer line. He was extremely professional and friendly, and got right to to work. He checked around the house to find a clean out, and luckily found one at the front of the house. Other wise he would have had to go in through a sink or toilet for an extra fee. The inspection was fast, and afterward he took the time to walk through the findings with us. He provided great recommendations for ongoing maintenance of the sewer line, and provided helpful and quot;watch outsand quot; and ways that rooter companies try to up-sell you. He explicitly stated what we do need vs. do not need to do. All in all, we really liked Dave.
i noticed on the inspection form that they recommended a company to rooter the line. When I searched the company on Angie's list I found that it is also a John White company and it had a bad review. I cannot really blame them for recommending one of their companies to do the work, but it certainly isn't unbiased. We will likely go with a different company for the rooter, but would use this company again for an inspection! I do want to note that we in no way, at any time, felt pressured by Dave to use a specific company, it was just a casual mention in the report.

Great! He came by to do the sewer inspection initially. The line hadn't been cleaned by the owners for years, so he couldn't complete it. That meant he had to come again, and they did charge again, but that wasn't their responsibiilty so it makes sense. Then after identifying the issues, he gave me a fair price and set the time. He and his partner Manny did excellent work.

David was very thorough, informative and professional. As this was a neutral opinion, we felt good about his report as to what repairs were necessary. After his evaluation, we were able to contact a plumber and get the work done with the knowledge that we were adequately informed. Great service!

I called with short notice, and they were easily able to book an appointment. When the weather looked adverse, Dave came out early to beat the rain. Though the conditions were tight for sewer access, Dave dealt with it to save me the fee of accessing the drain from the house. The video was professional and issues well discussed and documented. Dave's final report arrived timely and well written.

The technician showed up on time. He did his work in a professional manner. He helped me decipher what I was seeing on the TV screen. At first he thought there was a problem with root intrusion, but after further review he determined the problem was negligible. He recommended a yearly cleaning, which is standard on most homes in this area. And he gave me free promotional memo pads and highlighters.

As its name suggests, this firm uses a camera to videotape the interior of your sewer pipes to detect any problems. They give you a copy of the tape when you're done, which is an interesting thing to keep on your media shelf. They were reasonably priced, punctual, and professional, and we had confidence in their assessment and recommendations for repairs and upgrades.
