Jimmy Barrios Painting & Remodeling

All the paint started peeling off the baseboard the same day he left. He did not do the priming correctly. He would be an hour and a half late, or leave early. He would sometimes never show up. He missed parts of windows throughout the entire house. The paint rubbed off on some jeans that I had hanging in the closest, that?s how easy it was for the paint to peel off. He promised to comeback to fix the problem. He didn?t sand or prime a single door, window or baseboard. I had to go back and scrape areas for him. Abraham is someone I hired to help come scrape with me has logged 50 hours already and we still aren?t finished. Jimmy took some of my painting tools, used my finish sander and destroyed it. If I wanted to do this job right, I would have to do everything over again. He tried to get me to give him 2,000 to help with his sisters medical bills. He used to be an excellent painter from what I hear, but recently something has gone wrong. I would not recommend him to anybody.

I have used Jimmy on 2 remodeling jobs and also to paint my house inside and out. He has a very good crew that has been with him for a long time. They are so polite and professional, keeping the working areas clean and orderly. Jimmy shows up on time and finishes on time. On my remodeling jobs, Jimmy did new molding, bead board paneling, new lighting fixtures, new plumbing fixtures, tile work, brick work. Anything needed in a remodel job, he is on it, no waiting for sub contractors. I can't recommend more highly...I would be happy to give a phone recommendations as well.
