My husband and I attempted to decorate our home on our own without much success. With 2 kids under 2 years old, our house basically looked like a large playroom. The last thing we wanted to do was hire an interior designer; we felt that was for "rich people" with unlimited budgets, not every day people like us! But after living in our house for a few years without progress on the design front, we admitted we needed professional help. Jane came over and redid the family room, living room and dining area. She is absolutely professional, punctual, responsive and a delight to work with. She listened to our needs, utilized the furniture and items we wanted to keep, worked within our budget, and kept us informed every step of the way. She presented us with several different design options throughout the process and didn't mind making adjustments where needed. And she's got a keen sense of style! With her help, the inside of our home went from "modern toddler" to a grown-up-yet-fun midcentury modern house. We love spending time in our redone rooms. We're extremely happy with the finished product and would love to hire her again if other areas of our home need updating.
