It was very quick and easy to establish an account by going to their website and download their software. The speed and quality of the FAXes sent was good. I obtained this account because I thought I was going to need FAX services for a particular project. As it turned out, I did not, and I had no other need to have the service. I figured I had better cancel the account right away (and eat the expense) or else I would be likely to forget and be automatically charged another month's service. After stumbling around the website unsuccessfully trying to find a "cancel my account" button, I sent an email to the company and asked to have my account canceled. The company replied that I had to cancel the account via an "online chat." I did so. (This is where I became impatient with the company.) I opened the text chat as instructed. Whenever I said I wanted to cancel my account, the eFAX clerk offered me a "deal" to continue on. I replied that I didn't want a deal, I wanted to cancel. Then I was offered an even better deal. The third time I said I wanted to cancel the account now, I mentioned that all this deal-doing was lowering my Angie's List rating. At that point, the clerk finally canceled my account. (At least I _think_ he did - I guess I won't know until my next credit card statement comes in.) My low ratings result from having to fight to get my account canceled.
