By far the most professional and reliable painting service in the greater Los Angeles area for interior and exterior painting as well as kitchen and bathroom cabinet refinishing. Stefano has put together an amazing team of dedicated professionals and ensures that the entire project is run like clockwork. From the time you receive his written estimate and timeline, throughout the project, everything is documented and signed off by you in writing. No surprise billings; a detailed job and payment schedule; color selections; additional work, etc. etc. Stefano and his crew are punctual, showing up everyday at 8am and working until 5 or 6 until the job is finished. (A rarity in Los Angeles). The crew is extremely courteous, fastidious in their prepwork and amazingly detailed in the actual painting process. At the end of every workday they ensure everything is cleaned up before they leave. Stefano himself is also a master of refinishing cabinetry and made our kitchen and two bathrooms look like they were brand new. He is also on the job overseeing things almost everyday and stays in constant contact with you to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. Italian Painting Services offers quality work for the discerning homeowner. An absolutely wonderful, well run operation. I'd give them six stars if I could. Stefano and his team are the best.

I spent a great deal of time researching companies to refinish my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. They were painted over 15 years ago and were definitely in need of a face lift. I found several companies and asked for bids, with a couple following through and a majority not returning my telephone call. Still not completely happy with the businesses that did respond, I finally put in a call to Italian Painting Services. Stefano, the owner, answered the phone himself, and I was immediately impressed with his enthusiasm for his work. After quickly receiving a reasonable price, Stefano and team got to work. They are so professional, respectful, timely, and pleasant. Stefano kept me updated daily as to the progress they made and the expected completion date. Their work was perfection, and they completed the job on the date promised. They did such a fantastic job, that my very-particular husband had them paint the outside of our house also. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was in NJ on a Saturday afternoon and needed to get a painter to give me an estimate in CA on Tuesday to paint the condo we had purchased. I reached out to Stefano and he said it would be no problem, not to worry, he would meet my realtors at the condo whenever needed. So, right off the bat, I could see he was committed to customer service. His estimate was very fair and his reviews were great and so we contracted with him to paint our condo. He and his team are totally professional and did an excellent job. We then realized we needed to have the kitchen cabinets painted and Stefano did that as well and did a beautiful job. Other things came up and Stefano said he could do those things as well. He even offered to come back and touch up anything needed after we moved in! (No other painter has ever mentioned something like that to us.) He is a very personable individual and a pleasure to work with. I am extremely glad that I chose Italian Painting Services and wouldn't think of calling anyone else for any future painting needs.

I can't say enough positive things about the Italian Painting Services. Stefano and his crew painted our Living Room, Entry Hall, Dining Room, Hall, and one Bathroom. We have an older home that required some additional preparation and detailed plaster repair along with painting techniques to accuentuate the architectural features. The living room has 12 foot ceilings with plaster beams, the dining room has a plaster wreath on the ceiling, the entry has plaster work that looks like bricks. This was not an easy paint job. The crew was professional, very neat, talented, and very respectful of our property. I would not hesitate to recommend the Italian Painting Services for any painting needs. We selected this painting service from Yelp due to the excellent reviews, and they did not disappoint.

They are all very polite, clean, professional, and they really care about the quality of their job. I would highly recommend them! I am still in love with our kitchen, and it is all thanks to the paintwork done by these guys. If we ever have any more paint work we need to do around our place, I will for sure use them again!

This company literally saved us from a nightmare tenant situation.  They came and painted our entire rental house on a Saturday after we finally got rid of tenant who messed up all the walls in just one year! Stefano and his team did a beautiful transformation the very next day so a new tenant could move right in - saving us thousands in rent. I wouldn't think of using another company. Everything we asked about or needed, Stefano responded to immediately and, not only did a fabulous professional paint job, but turned a stressful, ugly situation into a great relief.  I have complete confidence in Stefano's work and his integrity and wouldn't think of using any other painter.  The price was incredibly reasonable considering we were in such a desperate situation and Stefano did not take advantage of us  - not cheap - but well worth it in every way for a emergency and quality result.

They did a beautiful job - my father in law is always commenting on how smooth and perfect it is. Stefano was great about communicating and making the process as stress free as possible for us. He did such a great job that I'm always looking for reasons to hire him again. Recently we hired him to paint the exterior of our house and I got slightly emotional about it. Wasn't expecting such a radical transformation. Our house looks brand new! Stefano is easy and fun to work with and I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Italian Painting Services is simply an all-around outstanding painting team from start to finish. We knew we had found the right contract the moment we gathered all our quotes (all from highly-rated L.A. area painting contractors). The quote from I.P.S. was the most detailed and professional of several companies that gave us bids, and it was amongst neither the highest nor lowest bids.

We are incredibly happy with the work they performed, as the walls were restored to a condition that passes as brand new (our building was built in 1991). Our condo unit has double high ceilings, which they were able to paint without issue. Most impressive is the door and casing work, which is flawless, as there are no paint drips, pooling of paint in the panel details, or any of that amateur stuff...just beautifully painted doors with a gorgeous sheen. To be sure these guys are professionals and it shows in their work.

For example, when we observed them prepping our place, we noticed that they took the time to Do It Right: taping edges, removing faceplates and door knobs, etcetera. For sure it is easier to skip this step, but again, these guys took the time to make sure things are done to a higher standard. Also, the paint they use is great: it looks great, did a great job of covering the sickly-looking off-white that was previously on the walls, and it was ultra-low VOC (i.e. it didn't smell terrible, which is great since our son was about 6-7 months old when the work was done). Also, when we wanted to add and additional bathroom to paint, we talked it over with the lead and were sent change orders that evening. A lot of the correspondence was handled over email, which was extremely convenient for us, and the price for the change order was incredibly fair.

Finally, I was most impressed by their work ethic. In Los Angeles, it is easy to blame being late because of the traffic or just showing up at 10:00, 10:30, or 11:00, and just blame the freeways. These guys were terrific about showing up at 8:00 or 9:00 or whatever time they said from the start, and if there were issues or they would be unable to make a date, I was told at least a day – and often several days – in advance. We also had to contend with a flooring contractor that was habitually late and behind schedule (which demonstrated a great contrast in contractor professionalism/work ethic), and Italian Painting Services were able to handle our flooring contractor's delay with stride and patience.

Based on price, quality, professionalism, and work ethic, my wife and I are incredibly pleased with the whole experience, and more importantly, the appearance and transformation of our home! I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to family and friends and to anyone reading this. As with any contractor, I definitely recommend getting a bid from these guys along with several others, and hopefully you will find that Italian is the way to go!

The quality of the work was excellent. Among other items, his men skimmed, sanded, and repainted my ceiling where there had been water damage and the repair looks pristine. Stefano and his men were polite, professional, and prompt. Cleanup was perfect, and he was very accommodating about checking in with me throughout the process and making sure any issues found on the walk through were addressed immediately.
