This experience was so appalling that I feel compelled to comment. In January of 2017, the electricity in our garage failed. An Intelectric employee came that day and replaced the circuit breakers. One year and 11 days later, we were without power to the garage again. I called to see if they would honor the warranty, 11 days past the expiration, and was told no. We called another electrician who came out and took care of the problem. He told me that the work done by Intelectric was substandard and their electrician had used circuit breakers that appeared to be old and recycled. I called Intelectric to share my concerns and spoke to the owner (Mitchell Weiner) who was abrasive on the phone but agreed to take a look for himself. Upon arrival, he immediately criticized the work and the type of breaker installed by the second electrician, but was unwilling to discuss or take any responsibility for the poor work performed by Intelectric. At the same time, he readily admitted that the circuit breakers his firm had installed were not the correct ones and that the worker who had installed them had been fired because his work was sub par. He refused to repay me for any of the original work his company had done and instead insisted on replacing the circuit breakers installed by the second electrician at his cost of $35.00 (he had billed me $116.20 for the defective ones) with no charge for the labor. After he left, I had misgivings, feeling that he was offering me something I didn’t want while shutting down any discussion of the inadequate work performed by his firm. When his receptionist called to schedule the appointment for the work, I asked that Mitch call me before coming to my house. He never called me but when he arrived for our appointment (an hour late), I tried to explain again why I felt the charges were excessive and that I was unhappy that an unqualified worker had been sent to my house. At this point, he was quite verbally aggressive. I asked that he make some corrective action to the original bill and not perform any work that day. He responded by saying “I am not taking orders from a woman” and yelled other equally unfriendly and unprofessional things. He turned around, walked back to his truck and left. I was relieved that he was off my property and would not be “fixing” anything but I was astonished by the entire incident. Bottom line, Mitch is a bully, he doesn’t stand behind his work, and is disparaging toward women. Needless to say, don’t use Intelectric.

Even though we confirmed via email that the inspection would be on Tuesday, there was a miscommunication and the inspection occurred on Wednesday. OK, s**t happens. Mitch came to the property and did what appeared to be a very thorough inspection. Unfortunately, the estimate that was provided was for $9,660, with no itemized breakdown whatsoever. I left 2 messages and an email to convey that this was of no use and it took more than a day before I finally heard back from someone, the owner's wife. She was very nice and said she understood our dilemma and would get back to me later that day. Unfortunately, she did not. It took a couple more phone calls before receiving a call back from her in which I again explained we just needed the electrician to write down the cost of each proposed repair. He could even write it on our inspection report. She again said she would speak with him and get back to me. But she didn't. Crickets. Dealing with this company has been extremely frustrating and we would never hire them again.

We are making some changes in our home, i hired this company after getting some quotes and it was an excellent choice. We are installing a new ac system so we needed this electrical work, it was time to replace some wires and change the panel making everything ready and safe to get the new system. The workers were punctual professional and did a great job! Thank you , I definitely recommend this company.

Only Intelectric did not respond to my inquiry, even though I had indicated that I had been a customer for whom they had done pretty extensive work.  The other two companies responded the same day.   UPDATE:  After posting a review pointing out the apparent lack of responsiveness, I was contacted by the office manager for Intelectric who explained that my message through Angie's List was delayed and not delivered until about three weeks later.  If the messaging system can sometimes deliver messages so much later, that is something consumers should be aware. Also, I commend Intelectric for being proactive in correcting the unfortunate misimpression.

Good responsiveness, very professional, punctual, and clean, but terrible value!

I only wanted one light fixture installed on an existing switch. I thought the job would be only one person, but 2 guys showed up. If the second guy does any work, then they automatically charge you an extra $75/hour.

The total job was $420. Another electrician quoted me $150. If I knew it would be so expensive to install one preassembled light fixture on an existing switch, I wouldn't have gone with Intelectric.

I called intelectric in a bit of a panic as the outdoor lighting was not working in my garden and we were hosting an outdoor pre-wedding dinner for 80 people in less than a week. They were able to schedule an appointment on short notice and repair most of the lights but found some wiring that had to be done back at their place. They came back in two days and finished the job and everything is working perfectly. They were very courteous and friendly in trying to squeeze me, a new customer, in to an already crowded schedule and delivered as promised, on time and with a smile. I am glad to have found dependable, professional, courteous, fairly priced electricians, which i will definitely continue to use and recommend.

This was a tricky job involving careful removal of a valuable balanced power setup which I had used to power my audio visual system. Getting a nearly 400lb lump of metal off the side of a house without damaging it or the house itself is no easy task and Intelectric executed it flawlessly. From the initial quote (prompt and professional) through the work in removing the panel and installing the new sub-panel everything went flawlessly. While Intelectric are not cheap they are certainly a great illustration of getting the quality you pay for and I would strongly recommend them for any tough jobs

It was a very basic, easy job.  I had called several other companies as well, but the larger companies were unable to schedule for weeks and the smaller companies were much more expensive than Interelectric.

Their service was very unprofessional.They came to add a circuit breaker to my circuit panel and install an electric plug outlet for my Tesla. .
They actually took one of my extra breakers that I had and then they replaced it with a USED one. When I asked them if it was used, they said no to my face. Then, I asked them to look at the breaker because the sticker on it showed it was very old. (taken out from an older electric box) He replied to me that yes it was a used part but when he said "new" he meant  it was "new" in my box. Really!
I also told him to add an additional plug in my bathroom with the extra circuit breaker that I had, but they ran away before finishing the job. He also took away my extra circuit. 
Following this, the LA city electrician inspector came a few days later to provide me with the permit. The inspector said that the work done did not pass inspection and that they would have to redo the job. Intelectric came back and fixed it just enough to pass the inspection and never responded back about finishing the outlet plug in my bathroom.
I'm very unhappy with this company since they were extremely  unprofessional,. After I paid them they disappeared, even though they said they would come back to finish the job.
Beware and do not work with this company.
