HUNG LY CONSTRUCTION

Well I should have known from the beginning because when I called Mr. Hung to set up an appointment he seemed as thuogh he really 

as not paying very much attention and talking with someone else in the back ground, very rude. Anyway we set up an appointment for a Sunday morning but hey I needed the job done and that was his soonest available time so I agreed to meet him and his assistant on a Sunday morning. Well not only was he over an hour late but his assistant did not show so I was unable to pick out any paint or carpet. He  later sent me a couple of pictures on the coputer unable to see feel touch etc the samples.. Anyway before this he arrives late and hastily measures the walls I offer him my accurate measurements Mr. Hung declines something of which comes back to bite him in the a** at my expense. Anyway I did not only NOT know that he was not doing the carpet himself and instead contracting it out. I could have just went to the Home Depot it would also have been less expensive. But no here we are my family and I because of the economy we decided to try and help by hiring the little guy.Anyway to make a very long story short the guys they contracted to remove and replace the carpeting not only got here very late but much worse were hung over red eyed and sluggish... among other things. And I'm not sure when maybe during their break or lunch they  smelled of alcohol andby the end of the day one of the guys looked pretty much drunk.Maybe thats why they did a cluster f*** of a job. As I mentioned before from his own employees mouth Mr. Hung incorrectly measured the rooms and closet thus not being enough carpet for our closet and living room. The living room the managed to staple a couple of strips of carpet and cover the remaining area. The closet they wanted to come back another day at our expense, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!! They are lucky I don't sue their a****! In any case you'd think they would have painted before replacing the carpet well they did not. Anyway when Mr. Hung came to paint he came alone was slow not very good did not finish the gaps before painting. Said he'd come back to finish, its getting close to two months and still we have not heard from him. Oh and when we paid his emplyees they didn't even give him all the money we gave them but thats a whole other story... All in all it was the worst experience and worst job EVER!!! I just hope nobody has to go through all the B.S. we had to go through.

They were prompt, and they cleaned up very well. When they left our lives were back to normal as much as possible until they were done. They part of the job he had done was cost a lot less than anyone else around. In all the places, he patched the walls you cannot  even tell he patched them. He did a very good job. If it had not been for Angie's list, we would have never found him. He let me pick out the flooring, and it was more than what the estimate was, so I was going to pay the difference. He came back and said I did not owe him anything because his estimate was a little off. They did an excellent job and they are very honest.

He was here on time for the estimate. He was very professional. We ended up deciding to do it ourselves.

'Hung gave me an estimate swiftly and it wasn't long before I knew he was the man for the job. On the day of the job, he arrived right on time with his assistant and they got to work right away. Everything was of quality. An impressive utility van, containing all their tools and materials which they accessed easily, the equal expertise in all the jobs done, and the clean-up which possibly left my house cleaner than it was. I would definitely Hung again, in fact, I am.

Mr. Ly was prompt, analyzed our problem, and fixed it in the most economical, appropriate and cost effective way. He was polite and very easy to work with.
