Dave was easy to work with and his crew was wonderful. They showed up on time, worked all day, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. I spoke with Dave (by phone or in person) at least once a day during the five month project, and he kept us apprised of the progress and the work schedule. As questions arose, both Dave and his crew were responsive, flexible, and more than willing to deal with any concerns. Remodeling a 77 year old house is not without surprises, from missing headers to patched wiring. Dave, his crew, and the sub-contractors fixed everything, doing what was needed to make things right even if it was more work than they had planned on doing. The work was generally of high quality and thoughtfully done with attention to detail. Dave worked closely and collaboratively with us, listening carefully, offering suggestions and improvements on our ideas. His original bid was adjusted upward as we found that more things needed to be done, but we always felt the pricing was fair. Dave is an artist and a craftsman, bringing the best of both worlds to the job. We are very happy with the results and are really enjoying our beautiful home.
